it sucks when u cant take photos, they think ur seriously goin to sell there ideas or something lol

That’s a beautiful manifold.

You must have a wonderful relationship with the carpenters or something because your copper runs are completely clear of their framing. If anything their studs is in front of the No-Hub framing.

I didn’t know a Vent could be anything less than 2 inches?

Interesting.

You know how it rolls around here, REP. Go back to your shit show of a thread and stay there.

You traded in the luxury of posting in member threads when you sold out to be a rep.

Didn't you just get back from a ban for acting like the playground cop?

Quite a bit different. Nice to see you again too, dick. :D

Now that you bring it up, what the fuck do i care?
Let sources and rep's post willy nilly. What are we gonna do if they don't listen, ban them?

Anyway. Enjoy your summer, homeboy. Winter's coming this way and i'm looking forward to it!

It is a tough one, but I had to put the boot in while it still smarts a bit :D

We've got another month or two before summer hits properly. I'm going to up the tren to shred hard, else I'll melt.

Yes, I wouldn't do it if I wasn't getting union scale.

I bet when you see a straight run on a new job that’s an easy day for you.

Nothing worse than crawl spaces and electricians racks, hvac and even the plumbers sometimes run their water lines to close to the iron.. they like to piggy back off the iron with kindorf and they don’t realize you just take the kindorf straps off and it stays in place with the insulation on a horizontal rack.

Vents here can be 1-1/4” but it has to be at least Half the drain size of the fixture its venting.

What’s the header on your vents for the fixtures? We keep ours at 43” from ground. Basically anything above the flood level of a fixture obviously but the header height varies from shop to shop, job to job. Normally guys don’t follow blue prints to a tee.... we have lay out and we do our thing.

Our vents are two inches off the branch from the stack. That’s code here.

A while back I ran a 400 foot length of Lead and Oakum.... I honestly haven’t worked with that in ages. What a bitch to have to pack those lead joints.

Prints just give a general idea, coordinations drawings usually need to be exact. Normal vent mains here is either 1-1/2 or 2” sinse toilets are usually 3” or 4”. We do the 42” off the floor.

Thank god we don’t do lead joints, but some places like Boston still do it.

The sprinkler fitters have it too easy.. everything is pre-fab from the factory and shop. Rarely do I see welders cut and weld sprinkler head branches. They come pre-fab as well.

All they do is put a puzzle together, not much skill in there trade here
