Weighted Dips Are Awesome!

Dips are one of my favorite exercises now!! When at home I use my walker I had to use when rehabbing aftery hip replacement surgery!! It helps remind me of hard times and how far I've come since then.Plus I gotta get some use out of it as much as they charge my insurance for it and the surgery!!! They told me to hold on to it because Medicaid only pays for the one.If the day ever comes I need one again I hate the think how much it'll cost!!

One of my favorites. Its the upper body squat imo. I've gone up to 4 plates for 6 reps all the way down. Love it
Damn that's impressive...working on 2 plates currently and getting 5. With a shoulder impingement that's due to a bone spur it does get painful after a spell but I grind it out still.

Good work but be careful. I love weighted dips but no one exercise is essential or worth potential injury. These days, if it hurts, i don't do it.

Yes I think I found the positioning that reduces the pain and pressure and so far it works. The dip bar at my gym's variable width so been also playing with the width of the bars.

Of course if there's a lot of pain I'll back off.
