So to steal a line from the possum, this is my thread, ( so I quit cluttering up everyone else’s ) to starve off the rocking chair.
I’m 47 and have had 2 back injuries.
Lived a pretty rough life so the rest of me was about used up too.

Got a injection for sciatica after suffering for 2 years, and it helped greatly. I immediately went to working out. That was about 14 months ago. I’ve dealt with some tendinitis in my ( whole body it seems ) so I’ve had to slow it down a few times.
I decided I wasn’t working to get huge, just wanted to be healthier.
But you know I’ve still got thoughts of size in the back of my mind.

Anyway, did a run of epistane and test last year, and that blew me up, considering I was about 24% bfi at the time.
Due note I’m a short fuck, at 5.5 prob 5.4 if I’m honest.
I then started learning keto, and following it. I then ran UD 2.0 for a few weeks as close as I could to the program. That all got me down to 12’s bfi but I deff lost some muscle It’s been about 9 months since I finished my last cycle.

Now I’m running test 300 mg/wk and dbol 20 mg a day. Stayed low so I could run the dbol 6 weeks. Running the test E 12 weeks. I started week 3 today.

So I’m about recomp more than anything. Keeping a good diet, and continuing to get healthier.

I’ve met a few ppl here, So hello to all of MESO that I haven’t.
 
How’s the appetite on the test and dbol?
Well it’s been up and down.
I had been used to eating a salad every day with all my leafy greens, broccoli, spinach leaf, cabbage, but it makes me swell up like the Michelin man.
So I rearranged my food intake to have less bloat.

My biggest issue is I’m over eating right before bed, and the snack is almond butter, and peanut butter.
Hell im prob eating a 1000 calories of it just by itself. I got to quit buying it. I’m just to weak lol

The rest of my diet tho is on par.
Steak and eggs, Turkey, beef, salmon, cod, and tuna steaks.
Blew 120 yesterday on mainly just meats.

Since I only drink water, I decided to try out some different milk.
The almond milk is for pre workout shake.
The chocolate milk with omega 3, I use for my post workout shake.

I’m on the 3rd week of trying them.
I know Almond milk and vanilla whey make a damn tasty shake!

If you’re having joint and connective tissue issues, test alone may make them worse. Just something to keep in mind.
Well I dealt with an issue in my forearms, then one in my dealt.
My back has been all over the place.
Buddy of mine recommends I get a foam roller.
And most of these issues have came in the 8 months off of gear.
I’m doing a lot better today.
Deadlifts seem to be my ticket to dealing with the sciatica so I’m doing them 2x a week. 2 warm up sets at 150, then 5 more working sets of 15 at 200
I tried 270 in the rack for 1 rep.
Was successful but form wasn’t great and with my lower back injuries I decided not to let the dbol push me off a cliff.
It’s a fine line working around injuries.
I would give anything to go back 15 years and start over with the mindset I have now, and the knowledge that these forums, and the members provide.

Let’s just say that was the case, would the intelligent thing to do, be running it at lower doses, say 150-300 mg/wk and stack it with other gear?
Instead of just test alone at 300- 1000 mg/wk?
Or you just informing me it’s gonna hurt no matter what I use?

Hahah or just went u hit biceps I always can gauge how strong the pump is by if I’m able to touch my shoulder or not with the same sides hand (as if u were to do a front double bi, but instead of flexing just see if u can relax the bi and touch each hand to the same side shoulder on top of it, good pump= can’t do it). And how long the pumps carry through, should feel pretty full from the pump for if day a good half of the day instead of your usual 30-45 min post gym

I’ve seen a few articles on ppl saying dead’s arent meant to be done at too high of a rep range (over 10) unless performed w the hex bar (neutral grip) dead. Not sure as to why, I’ll have to pull up a study.

Like most slow esters it’s a waste IMO below 10 weeks if we’re talking muscle building benefits. However I’m no expert on the effects it has (or time to relief) to reverse the negative impact of test on connective tissues. I’m sure someone else will comment. I just know it’s a very real thing.

Just was debating throwing into the next cycle or adding it into mine but I’d seen some saying 14-16 weeks which would be slightly too late for me to do so. Didn’t know it had the ability to possibly help aid in rebuilding connective tissue issues

IIRC not to the degree of deca but still has that characteristic.
 
Since your already 3 weeks deep into your blast it’s going to take some time for deca and equipoise to catch up to the test you’ve already pinned so NPP would be an options as well which yes is deca but a much quicker acting ester. So people would say to pin every day or every other day but IMO in your situation you can get away with pining MWF. Is normally dosed in 100mg/ml so 300mg of NPP added to your current stack I believe would beloved with your recomping nicely. Not only will it help with joint relief but deca works well with dbol also so in terms of adding strength as well during this blast NPP isn’t a bad choice at all if you can get your hands on it from your source.

Equipoise is great also. I ran it my last blast it helped me stay lean, very vascular, and my joints honesty felt great throughout the whole cycle. Awesome endurance. No it’s not as strong as most steroids but it most definitely serves its purpose when added in to compliment some stronger compounds. A good one to keep in mind and read up on for future reference.


& lastly I really respect your approach of starting with low doses and working your way up. Focus on diet and training and let the gear COMPLIMENT your hard work not REPLACE hard work.
