Has anyone here been a member to his site/app? Lot of people seem to claim his content is some of the best out there, and the monthly membership is just about 10 dollars, curious if it’s actually worth investing into this.

Meadows, palumbo and Jordan peters are expensive AF.

Who else is out there for $10 per month that’s good? Layne Norton? Troponin - Justin Harris?

Layne is good, lots of programs. Wendler is good for the $4 but nothing amazing.SFortitude training forum is pretty good.

Sorry OP can't help you too much.

I agree about Meadows though, only reason to join is to swipe everything quickly. He used to do the workout of the month which was pretty damn good but don't think he does anymore.

I don’t consider Bennett and Meadows to be on the same playing field. Meadows has a much broader base of info but not nearly the depth in any that Joe has in training.

However, I think, as was said about Meadows, if you’re intelligent you can pick up cues and understand his concepts without paying. They come down to exercise selection based on:
1. Proper bracing in movements
2. The strength curve and working through a ROM
3. Appropriate use of accommodating resistance

I agree, Meadows is more about anecdotal experience gathered over decades of training, while Bennet is more scientific. I was hooked on Bennett’s content, it’s just that good, he even trained with John in some videos that they made together, and John actually took the role of the one being coached, despite having decades of training on Bennett.

I base my exercise selection and order on Johns philosophy, like you said it’s easy to understand the concept behind it.

I might try Joe’s paid content in the near future since it’s inexpensive.

He rambles too much for me. I’m like shut up and get to the point! I signed up for a few months a while back. I canceled after I saw the majority of content. There’s some good info, but this stuff isn’t as complicated as he makes it out to be.

You get what ya pay for fella and TEN bucks a month won’t buy you much of anything.

I mean take a look at your bag of goodies what did those cost!

Oh how true but notwithstanding those who are grossly iintoxicated that’s the case w darn near all the view-op sites.

The other problem the majority regularly cite anecdotes and personal opinions as “evidence”.

Joe is not one of those either overly educated hiding behind a degree or a “guru.” IMO he splits the academic and experience line very well.

Does he talk a lot? Yeah. Is $10 cheap? Yeah. If you’re not versed in training and constructing intelligent training sessions his content is great.

I find myself constantly considering if the movement I’m doing is braced well enough if I’m looking for isolation; he drove that home.

Some do tend to rant BUT understand what you or I consider a rant others may consider informative bc the audience, needs, level of training or fund of knowledge varies markedly.

Take a look at Meso or any other board
as an example of what I’m referring to, since very few hang out on boards once
a certain level of expertise is reached, and I suspect video-op sites are no different.

Let’s put it this way if he’s sober, and I’m not only referring to booze but other recreational compounds, and can carry on an intelligent conversation that a huge plus IME.

I like Joe and am a member of his site. He has lots of good information and I like his workouts and videos. Joe and Ben Pakulski worked together for a long time and have very similar training philosophies. And they both sing the praises of Tom Purvis who also has some great YouTube videos available.
Overall very much worth the money. Just keep in mind it is 90% training, 10% nutrition and practically 0% drug talk so just make sure you know that going in.

Unless you are a coach yourself and want to get into that deep level of exercise science, I would skip it.

Nowadays everyone wants to get more scientific and explain every god damn inch of the exercise itself, way too much talking regardless.

Keep it simple stupid works for a reason, and considering we all are on a steroid site, meadow will get my vote between those two.

Anyway, that's my opinion, you are welcome to subscribe for a month and see for yourself if you are happy with what he has to offer.

Thanks for the insight. I’m actually looking into training more than the rest.

Nutrition for me is the easy part, and unless you are a top level pro, gear is pretty straightforward, just a simple cycle of 2 or 3 compounds at a moderate dose should do the trick if training and nutrition are 100%

I’m actually a trainer myself, so I think Il give it a try.

I was also Interested in the RP male physique training templates, but only managed to find a couple of them online.

From what I have seen they are pretty good, but not 120$ American good, so I guess Il wait until someone uploads them.

With this in mind I think youll get a ton form joe’s work

I know this has nothing to do with Joe, and not meaning to get off topic, but has anyone joined Matt Jansen’s site? Seems like they’d be a lot of great info there.

I am with you on that one. I expect you will really enjoy the site. He also has a trainers corner, he has some good insight into the business of personal training.
If you find training more interesting than what the best cycle is, you will enjoy it.
