Hello.
It's nice to see you today.
I am Nate, I've lurked here for awhile, mostly to find sources. I am aware i am the people you hate, but that can change given time and interest in the community.

I am 21 years old, I attend a UHCL and am in a Physical Therapy assistant program.
I have been in the gym since i was a fat 13 year old trying to play football.
Around the end of Freshman year, I was doing summer practice with Varsity and was on my way to the "1000 Club" for my big three lifts. I sucked at the actual game of football so I focused on powerlifting and school and that kind of became my shtick.
A
I remember watching the scene in Rocky IV where Ivan Drago as hooked up to all the machines, and was punching monitors. Neat. That was really how i fantasized training. I did a lot of research into steroids, and biohacks, megadosing vitamins, extended fasting, learned how to read scientific literature early. Never commited to anything while drug tested, and being advised not to by everyone because of age and "Not reaching my genetic potential". I took a break senior year, before Uni to focus on grades, girls and games in that order.
After high school, I wanted a boost and i discovered Dr. Tony Huge and while i thought he may be the biggest douche alive, i thought he was a bit charming and he grew on me. I was moderatly familiar with sarms and their nuances so I used Mk-677 and Ostarine to build my big 3 back to my original HS Comp lifts of Bench 365 - Dead - 495 - Squat 545.
Uni, Work and a long-term relationship heated up and i gained a fair bit of "Love Chub" and lost a big amount off my lifts. Sporadically working out at 24hr Fitness wasn't doing jack for me.
7 months ago, I decided i had learned a fair bit about lifts, gear and general nutrition, i'm a voracious learner who googles everything, and waits till I have read a couple books and taken first hand accounts from users. Watched a whole lot of channels, and actually got invested into mainstream bodybuilding. I found a excellent gym ran by Booker-T. Found a solid community and dedicated and regimented a workout plan focused on Big 3, but with implented with Gymnastics, Pump days, and Explosive Movements, and Max Effort days. I fine tuned my diet and got comfortable eating High Protein, Medium Fat and adjusting carbs for the situation.

I learned i was having a Baby Boy 3 months ago, with my longterm relationship. She is out of college and a nurse. I decided now I would play around with hormones, endocrine, HPTA and such. So I started with a source i found here.
I got a lot of androgens, and things to make me mad. I am a softy, and just wanted I don't want to get monstrously big, just attain a gymnast physique and be a excellent recreational athlete. I have in my short time tried Halo from Purple Panda, Anadrol - TNE - Cialis Test E then transitioned to P - Tren A and have maintained 1000iu of HCG a week. Nothing has made me mad, maybe irritable at most but I am just not prone. I have continued to lean out and my protocal right now is just 50mg of Test P and Tren A ED and before my Max Effort days I take TNE. I also take Cialis before a Volume day. I have yet to learn about GH and Insulin.

Welcome! Just so you know, the new member intro ISN’T a necessity, but it’s a good start. Apparently the mods at SF think we’re assholes because we “require” it. Anyway, you already know the comments that will come your way, but you’re going to do it anyway, so all I’ll say is be safe, learn what you can and enjoy your time here.

Thanks, Bud. I'm here to learn from those experienced. And yeah, I've watched from the shadows as Forum Vets go on a tear on people and sources. So it's only my just dues. Definitely seems like a good bunch of dudes here though.

@Traech good on you for mentioning in another thread to come check out your post here. If you hadn’t of mentioned it then I’d just passed you by as just a new member that only post about how good a source is.
Since @T-Bagger lightly brushed on being prepared for comments then here goes... why would you even think about messing with your hormones at your age? I mean your natural testosterone is peaking and you could meet all your goals naturally! It’s not too late to rearrange your thoughts and do a good pct and do this naturally until the time comes when your natural test levels need elevated. You can always be an active member here without using aas, js.
Keep in mind that choosing this path may one day have you dependent on hormone replacement therapy and you’ll be pinning test the rest of your life.

I’m really not trying to convince you either way. Just wanna give you something to think about. It’s your body, your health, and your life to choose as you will.

Now that that’s out of the way welcome to Meso bro! Hope to hear any knowledge you have to offer while gaining some knowledge along the way!

Good luck on your goals!!

Thanks for playing Devil's advocate, I know you look down on "Naturals" and you secretly approve of the transition to the dark side. I'm kidding, i think it was normalized for me by the people around me and by the people who I follow on social media, I normalized it to my fiancé too, by watching things around her and being open about my clear interests in PED's in general. I also think now that I've been back in the gym - I resent spending another 3 years gain a negligible amount on my lifts and a couple more lbs of lean mass. I'd like to personally think i have different motives than a lot of the general crowd, but who doesn't like to think they're a special snowflake.
Anyways, do you think these people who normalizing these substances and who are social media influencers focused on expanding into the mainstream are dangerous to both communities?
A few normie deaths here, touching stories about people who cycled incorrectly there and suddenly these ere a class 1 substance.

Welcome.

The risks of anabolics when younger are absolutely there and some are more likely to occur in younger folks; just as the risks are even greater for those cycling later in life when risk factors for CVD and other hereditary diseases start to become a concern.

I suspect a younger guy who starts gear in his 20's and gets bored of this stuff or moves on by the time he's approaching his 30's will have an easier time mitigating the long term damage than a guy who starts later in life and takes anabolics for a similar duration.

Unpopular opinion, but there you go. Everyone has to pick their poison, the human body isn't voodoo and there are a give and a take for supercharging things with drugs.

As far as thinking this stuff is normalized, might be the case among your immediate circle but not the case for 99% of the population. This is still a fringe hobby and this is an even more fringe aspect of that hobby. I only mention this because thinking this lifestyle is commonplace can easily set unrealistic standards in your mind that can be hard to break from later on in life if/when priorities change, or you are forced to change them (god forbid).

Welcome to meso!

Thanks Bolder, Chinup and SuperGod. Surreal comments.
Hopefully my balls stay true, and if not my circumstances stay conducive to continuing this lifestyle.

@weighted chinup I enjoyed reading your post above and your take on the subject. I would agree to everything you said except for the age part. The only reason I’d even disagree with that at all would be due to maturity levels when we are young. I’d just think that a lot of young people would tend to be reckless and make more bad decisions when cycling aas that could possibly be more harmful to them than the reward they seek.
There is definitely a window imo that you can only live the cycle and cruise lifestyle for so long. Age or health is sure to close the window eventually.

@Traech my take on YouTube and social media personalities normalizing the use of aas is very real I think. I see guys that look a certain way and talk openly about using and that could for sure cause the audience it reaches to normalize using/abusing aas. I also see it recently, locally, being more out in the open than how it was in the past. I’ve talked to younger guys at the gym here and there and was shocked to hear them talk about steroids so openly. Like it wasn’t even illegal at all!?

I also see it at my work believe it or not. There’s a physically demanding job to perform there and again I was blown away by the dudes that were on test and other aas. I believe at some point a guy who worked there, once upon a time, worked out in the gym, maybe had some muscle mass told these guys he took steroids and they assumed that’s all they’d have to do to look like him and the trickledown effect has been ongoing ever since lol. I’m speculating of course because I really don’t know but most of these guys are just big, like fat and don’t even look like they even lift lol. I just overhear things but it seems like it’s no big deal to them and imo they are just trying to normalize it around to everyone. It’s crazy to me lol.
I could see how this could be more dangerous for average kids growing up around these numbnuts here locally but I’m not sure about this as it pertains to the social media entering into mainstream are necessarily dangerous to both communities.
Most that are in this sport/lifestyle in the mainstream are fairly educated on aas and the ones that aren’t will probably not make it to the mainstream anyway. The YouTubers I watch seem to have their shit together but I’m sure that they’re some out there that’s getting tons of likes but are giving poor/dangerous advice.
I see more fitness YouTubers trying to sell supplements and clothing more than anything else lol. So I’d think they’d be more concerned about making money legally than anything else really.
Hopefully I somewhat answered your question @Traech that you asked in your post lol. Of course this is all my opinion and nothing more.
It’s late for me and I believe I rambled on a lot :D
