Made a large brew the other day at 6% benzyl alcohol. I'm also asthmatic although its well controlled usually.
Finished cooking the oil, bb and raw hormone on the stove in the boiling flask. Set it aside to cool for a while. Then i thought it had cooled enough and added a 60ml syringe of benzyl alcohol into the hot oil.
Instantly a cloud of oozing white mist started pouring up from the flask. Obviously the damn oil hadn't cooled enough!
I inhaled a large portion of the benzyl alcohol vapor... Coughed my guts up and felt fine. Continued with the bottling process.
During filling and sealing the vials i started noticing my breathing getting restricted. A few minutes later i could barely breathe. Used 8 inhalations of ventolin and 2 inhalations of 200/6 fostair.
Felt not so bad after all this, had to use more ventolin throughout the day but managed.
The day after i felt fine until about 12pm. Had some severe breathing issues and had to use more reliever medication. Now its 10am the following day and shit doesn't feel good. Its about 72 hours after the exposure now. Coughing a lot, feel short of breathe and like an intense tight, heavy feeling in my lungs.
Don't really want to visit a doctor incase the benzyl alcohol triggers any red flags with them.
Advice please??
