Where I work now, I started out on the pipeline crew, replacing and building pipelines out of 24in, 100ft long, 15000lb pieces of pipe. I was underneath one with an impact taking out the bolts and saw reddish brown hairy legs on my eye. I took off my safety glasses and the (spider) fucker walked across my eyeball underneath the glasses. Not to mention all the fucking, snakes, gators and everything else out there.

Fuck that I woulda nocked myself out with the impact gun as soon as I realized it was on my face

Peppermint oil.

Mix it up with coconut oil and roll or spray. Works like a charm for ticks and flees too.

Doesn't kill them, but they'll want nothing to do with ya.

Spray a tick and it'll literally let go and run the fuck away.

I use it on the dogs because I don't like the chemical shit. I'll zap problem areas around the house once a week with a spray bottle as well. Doesn't take much.
