Advice for saggy stomach

hey guys so I’ve been lifting for a while now and working off my old terrible habits and what I’m curious of is if there’s workouts that will fix a stomach that has some sag to it, not excess skin , just fat and saggy or if it’s just in sheer time and dieting that will correct it along with lifting heavy. I’m not some morbidly obese guy who’s 300 pounds . I’m 5’8 195 lbs with a pretty good amount of muscle , everyone who meets me always assumes I’m all muscle by the look of me. It’s just my lower stomach that is still awful and has some sag even though my stomach isn’t really big enough to where it should even sag

Lose more fat. Train abs and train yourself to maintain core rigidity. Tan. That addresses all angles of the issue: fat, muscular integrity/stability, and loose skin.

Some of it might not be resolvable if you were too big for too long. But usually...you just need to lose more fat.

No I get that more fat needs to be lost but I’m curious if there’s any exercises that anyone could recommend to help it or if I should just keep lifting heavy and eating clean and in a deficit

Also I wasn’t too big , I was 236 at my heaviest but even though I was lucky to have semi decent genetics to where I always had a decent amount of muscle mass and even at my heaviest my doctors would tell me yes I am over weight and need to lose fat but 236 wasn’t all pure fat

Basically this. Maintaining a tight core can help visually, though. No real secrets and spot reduction isn’t really a thing.
Right exactly I always heard spot reduction is a crock of shit . But would abdominal workouts maybe help tighten it up to where the stomach could lift up, because honestly my stomach isn’t big enough to sag as severely as it does

That’s what worries me. I’ve heard that once the collagen is gone and the skin loses it’s elasticity then there’s nothing more that can be done. Would any supplements like collagen or anything like that be able to help, or is surgery the only resort?

Definitely not my area of expertise, and a bridge to be crossed when you get there for sure. Sorry I don’t have more info for you.

What’s was your heaviest ?

Absolute heaviest was 301. I told my wife years ago if I ever hit 300 I was just going to become the fattest piece of crap I could. Instead, I did the HCG diet and got down to 210. I know everyone discredits the HCG diet and says HCG literally does nothing, but the only exercise I did was walking and I really didn’t have any skin sag afterwards. I lost almost all my muscle as a result, but I wasn’t walking around with a ton of hanging skin. Same with the wife - she lost a good 100+ pounds and she tightened up also.

So I wonder if some topical Vitamin E will help. I use it around my eyes to help with wrinkles and that seems to help. I’m currently undergoing a program with @Mac11wildcat, so like he said - we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.

Just curious how tall are you man? And do you have stomach sag as of now or did you use to and lost it when you dropped to 210. Thanks

6’0”. When I lost it, there was still some sag, but I think I still had some belly fat hanging on. After dropping all that weight, I was still around 18% BF.

Honestly?

I dropped 40lbs before I set foot back in a gym years ago. I just started going for long fucking walks.

Cardio aside, walking 22-3Hrs a day is usually going to eat up more energy that lifting.

People way way overestimate how much they'll burn lifting.

Far as the skin? Yeah you hit a point and cutting is about all you can do. Cuba is a good option as long as you coordinate post on care with local docs.

Lucky you brother, I was 320 at my heaviest. I dropped my weight with diet and exercise. I didnt even know of the HCG diet when I lost my weight. Anyways I have minor looseness in some areas but I also still have some fat pockets left over that just dont want to go away, stomach and chest.

Look awesome in a shirt, naked not so much lol.. so I feel your pain OP

Thank you now let me ask you something man, if I continue just eating clean and hitting the weights heavy is it realistic to expect my stomach to eventually go flat , my heaviest as I said was 236, so I feel like maybe I didn’t stretch my stomach to the point of no return but I don’t know this for a fact which Is I’m here asking you fellas . I can visually tell my upper portion of the stomach is slowly shrinking and becoming flatter , but will my lower section ever lose the fat apron or am I fucked for life ?

How old are you? She plays a big factor as well.

I was desperate and like most others, I wanted the easy way and the HCGD was it. Kept the weight off for nearly 3 years, but got on the gears and steadily gained weight and fat, which I attribute to poor diet, which is STUPID because I had developed healthy/clean eating habits from HCGD.

Honestly, I believe we can do irreparable damage to our bodies and cosmetic surgery becomes the only alternative.

I just have a hard time considering plastic surgery , I want to get this off the honest way, and like I said I don’t have a big beer belly gut. My stomach is chubby and roundish I do admit that, but I feel like it’s repairable without some guy cutting my stomach in half . I know the lower stomach takes the longest to lose but I’m curious if doing ab workouts will even help at all or if normal lifting and diet will fix it in time on its own
