Advice for saggy stomach

I just have a hard time considering plastic surgery , I want to get this off the honest way, and like I said I don’t have a big beer belly gut. My stomach is chubby and roundish I do admit that, but I feel like it’s repairable without some guy cutting my stomach in half . I know the lower stomach takes the longest to lose but I’m curious if doing ab workouts will even help at all or if normal lifting and diet will fix it in time on its own
Definitely bro. You’re young, unlike me.

Haha age is just a number bro, we can all do it . It just gets discouraging when your running gear , lifting almost every day and eating very clean for a while and there’s still that one fuckinf spot that won’t change ! But your probably right , it’ll go away in time

Age is only a number until your body starts disagreeing lol. I’m feeling crap at 46 that I didn’t even feel 3 years ago. Trust me - things change as you get older. Look at old people - they’ve pretty much lost all their elasticity in their skin. So while you’re young, definitely do all you can to get where you want to be because at a certain point, your body says “eff it!”

It should mostly self correct itself over time if it's actually just loose skin. Unless you were morbidly obese, which it doesn't really sound like you were, it should tighten up naturally. People that are extremely obese tend to need corrective surgery because there is just too much excess skin for the body to self correct.

Adding muscle to the abdominal area will help, staying hydrated will help, eating a good diet will help. The hydration and diet is mostly for healthy skin benefits. You can try supplementing with collagen however, I feel the jury is still out as to whether it helps in this particular situation. Certainly can't hurt.

I’m going to start adding some ab workouts in to try to tighten the muscles up in the area , I’ve heard of collagen powder and I’m not sure I believe it, I mean from what I’ve read high protein diets help create collagen so if that’s the case I’d imagine I’m already helping fight the battle of collagen deficiency

Thank you now let me ask you something man, if I continue just eating clean and hitting the weights heavy is it realistic to expect my stomach to eventually go flat , my heaviest as I said was 236, so I feel like maybe I didn’t stretch my stomach to the point of no return but I don’t know this for a fact which Is I’m here asking you fellas . I can visually tell my upper portion of the stomach is slowly shrinking and becoming flatter , but will my lower section ever lose the fat apron or am I fucked for life ?
Everyone is different brother. I tightened up everywhere the fat left. I was 13% BF overall and I still have far in the chest and stomach. Calipers take all locations into consideration so my stomach and chest brought the number up to 13%. I am 44 so my skin a little older than yours. I would say you may be ok.

I was desperate and like most others, I wanted the easy way and the HCGD was it. Kept the weight off for nearly 3 years, but got on the gears and steadily gained weight and fat, which I attribute to poor diet, which is STUPID because I had developed healthy/clean eating habits from HCGD.

Honestly, I believe we can do irreparable damage to our bodies and cosmetic surgery becomes the only alternative.
I still have some fat so hoping if I can drop it the skin will tighten up like it did elsewhere. Stomach and chest are stubborn areas. I have thought about cosmetic if I need it down the road. Wife doesn't complain but I am self conscious of it.

hey guys so I’ve been lifting for a while now and working off my old terrible habits and what I’m curious of is if there’s workouts that will fix a stomach that has some sag to it, not excess skin , just fat and saggy or if it’s just in sheer time and dieting that will correct it along with lifting heavy. I’m not some morbidly obese guy who’s 300 pounds . I’m 5’8 195 lbs with a pretty good amount of muscle , everyone who meets me always assumes I’m all muscle by the look of me. It’s just my lower stomach that is still awful and has some sag even though my stomach isn’t really big enough to where it should even sag
If I may chime in, I was in a position to where I had gotten injured, and ended up unable to walk for roughly 2.5 years unless I was using a cane or walker, during which time had gained a tremendous amount of weight, once I decided that I didn’t want to lay around playing fat ass anymore. I started back in the gym and basically taught myself to walk again. Fucking hell. But the weight came off almost as fast as it went on which had left me in a position to where my lower stomach right around my belt line was saggy. What I found to work well was like Mac said, build your core up, lots of leg raises and laying leg lifts, lower back extensions, alternating one legged weighted step ups in the squat rack or Smith machine with barbell/dumbbells. Burpies are fucking badass too. That’s honestly what put the finishing touches on my stomach. Last and definitely not least, Find yourself a a chick that’s likes to get fucked, invest in some little 100mg blue diamonds, shit ton of condomsbecause bottom line sex is the best way to get rid of it.

Yes and no. Collagen protein contains a different amino profile than whey, egg, beef, etc. All proteins are made up of amino acids... Collagen contains concentrations of specific amino acids that might be higher, equal to, or less than what is contained in any other form of protein.

So yes, you are getting an overlap to a certain extent if you're getting a variety of protein in your diet but you may not be getting quite the same amounts of certain aminos. The one that sticks out to me is glycine... That's pretty specific to collagen protein, IIRC.

I have noticed that some advanced age bodybuilders can have a little sag in their lower abdomen even when they are shredded. I do notice men are able have incredible fitness at any age. A lot of females I know end up getting surgery to get rid of excess loose skin because no matter how hard they train it just won’t go away. I just want to stay in the best shape I can while I’m healthy and able. Good luck my friend.

. Because of the lack of amount of testosterone, you cannot really compare their bodies with ours. They will always hold more fat then us, so in some situations surgery maybe the only solution

Lose more fat. Train abs and train yourself to maintain core rigidity. Tan. That addresses all angles of the issue: fat, muscular integrity/stability, and loose skin.

Some of it might not be resolvable if you were too big for too long. But usually...you just need to lose more fat.
What exactly do you mean by ( Maintain core rigidity

Time, brother. I was 265lb as a damn youngin'. I'll take a picture of my stomach some time.

in the joint I got down to 185 and I had a little kangaroo pouch, not bad though but noticeable. I lost that weight quick though.

I'm 190 now and MUCH more muscular and my stomach is pretty much good. I have very visible abs and the skin feels... not so taught as a normal person. But visually you can't really tell.

My point being it took time, I guess it regains some elasticity? Also I focus a lot on heavy abs, obliques, and lower back. I figure more muscle will make it more taught

You’re still relatively young too, aren’t you?
