Imagine my shock when I found out I injected with an old needle and syringe once. I guess when I injected I put them back in the package to throw away and never did. Next time went to go get my vials and saw the open pack on the counter, confused I assumed I just opened them before getting the vials. Wasn't till after that I realized I never opened the container of pins so they had to be from the last injection.

Now I make sure everything is in one location before starting, I throw away the packaging as soon as I open the syringe and needle and if I see a syringe or needle sitting on the counter I don't explicitly remember opening I toss it and start over.

So I just did my first deltoid injection. And also my first testosterone injection with a 1/2” slin pin.

Tossed my MCT vial on a candle warmer for about 5 minutes, then drew it with a 30g slin pin and honestly it was pretty nice not poking myself with a 23g for a change lol

All Exels have the zero waste plunger? Can’t tell in any of the pictures so I wanted to verify first.

Nope they don’t as far as I can tell. I was just researching this and you need to find the ones that say zero dead space.

I do 25g for glutes and quads

I hit quads with a 25g. Glutes are somewhat awkward to pin, so I use a 23g so it’s easier to push

1” 25g all around here-delts, quads, glutes. Draw with 18g. Makes drawing and pinning really quick and easy. When I’m pinning trt doses I’ll use a 27g 1/2” slin pin and since it’s usually only .5cc I’ll just draw using the same pin, just takes a little longer to draw. Just pin delts and quads with this one.

Or do you draw with the same needle to draw and shoot?

Yeppers! @iceman440 I will also fill all my slin pins so they are ready to go when I need them. Empty only 1 vial GH at a time of course. So if I have, for example, a 12iu vial, I will make 6 slin pins each with 2iu. Put em in the fridge and they sit there waiting patiently to sneak under my belly fat.

Do you guys draw oil with slin pins?

I've always backloaded them but recently tried drawing and it dulled the tip slightly even with the new silicone stoppers. I don't want to try again and jab with a dull one.
