I left some filtered brew in the receiver of a nalgene bottletop for about a week waiting for a glass receiver to refilter with I was wondering if the ba or bb would break down any of the disposable nalgene receiver into my brew?

Stay in your thread first of all, you lying cunt. 2nd, do not use plastic to store chemicals unless the plastic is specifically designed to contain what you're storing. Is this a practice your outfit embraces? There are more than a handful of baseline examples of this on Meso.Normally, the BB/BA from the factories are packed in plastic bottles. It was commonly seen. But, the plastic is kind of fluorinated bottle, which is designed for such corroded liquid.
There have been bottle top filter receiving units that degrade over time. Dont chance it.I left some filtered brew in the receiver of a nalgene bottletop for about a week waiting for a glass receiver to refilter with I was wondering if the ba or bb would break down any of the disposable nalgene receiver into my brew?
Thanks for the reply brother. Yea it made me think because the receiver was spider web cracked when I pulled it out and I don’t know if it was in my head but when I poured it out the oil (mct with test e) looked kinda of syrupyThere have been bottle top filter receiving units that degrade over time. Plastics scare the fuck out of me, especially anything coming out of China. They have zero care about regulations. There are plenty of case studies where BPA free plastics leach BPA into food and water, and these are "certified" plastics. One can say that we are using medical grade filters, right? How much bootleg medical equipment is out there? Loads of it. I'd bet my bottom dollar there are plenty if knock off filter units, sub par units etc. I'd also bet that when you get a steal of a price on Ebay you're really getting units that failed an inspection somewhere along the manufacturing process, to good to be true type of thing. Thanks for the reply brother. You could always refilter if you think it's good. Just trust your instincts. You've brewed before I assume, so you know what normal looks like. If it's out of the norm I would toss it personally.Well fuck me so I gotta toss it you think. It was Nalgene bottle top filter and I stored it in the receiver for about a week. Fuckin 400ml goin down the drain but if you think there was a good chance of the plastic or whatever it’s made of breaking down over that week then I’ll toss it and redo with glass and some new raw. Thanks for your replies
Lol it was difficult for me to throw away three 3mL syringes full of gear, I dont know if I could toss 400mL.I actually did refilter once the glass media came in but now it’s gunna bother the shit out of me the thought of possibly having degraded plastic in there making it through the the 2nd filtration. It looks like the usual but prob gunna toss it and lesson learned don’t leave in plastic receiver or even use plastic at all. Thanks man
Haha shit yea tell me about it filtered again and capped it all tooLol it was difficult for me to throw away three 3mL syringes full of gear, I dont know if I could toss 400mL.
I have a few hundred test e vials that are part of the "it stings" group that you read about. I feel youHaha shit yea tell me about it filtered again and capped it all too
I brew with mct carrier. The polystyrene filters will degrade if left in filter too long. If your bottle is polystyrene, I’m sure it degraded in there also. When it degrades that oil is cloudy. I have re-filtered it cold and it came out clear and pinned it and everything was fine. But this is your gear and your glutes. This worked for me and I am not sure if it will work for any one elseHaha shit yea tell me about it filtered again and capped it all too
Well that’s good to hear. I didn’t leave it in the filter I filtered and left in the receiver bottle of a regular Nalgene bottle top filter and it looks completely fine it’s just the receiver looked alil spider cracked all overI brew with mct carrier. I’ll be checking my order I made to see exactly what it’s made of. I use mct too I wonder if the ba or bb would effect it as well not just the carrierYou would really need to read up on the plastic media bottle to see if it’s made of polystyrene.
Edit: I’m not sure how GSO or other carriers affect the polystyrene. I only use mct and mct/eo blends
