carrier oil

Hey guys
Need a bit of advice for home brew, been looking at carrier oils and reading threads it's seems gso and cso are the best oils to use.
Which do you buy? There are 100% pure gso cosmetic grade carrier, odourless etc or cooking, same with cottonseed.
Probably a stupid question, Are these just the same? the cosmetic 1's dont seem to have anything added but say they are for skin and massage. Which 1 do you recommend using
Appreciate the help

Stick with what you know. If you inject with gso from your dealer now use gso. Nothing worse than switching to cottonseed and getting horrible PIP and you’re left wondering if it’s the oil or something you brewed wrong.

Any pure oil will work, just grab some plain old GSO from the grocery store and you’ll be fine.

I agree with staying with what you know works for you but you did ask us what we use. I use Now brand MCT oil. Miglyol is my favorite carrier but due to cost and availability I stick with the MCT.

Now brand mct, either amazon or Puritan pride has it cheap. Again, just make sure it’s plain old mct. I have gso simply because I thought I had bad reactions to mct.

Pick either mct or gso and avoid all the random shit only 6 people have ever used. When it comes to brewing help, we’ll be able to rule out issues with oil and figure out what’s going on with your brews.

Thanks for the advice I appreciate it, your right think I will go with gso so I don't get any reactions or problems
Is it true gso goes rancid after 3-6 months?

No. Once you brew it it’s good for years if stored in a cool dry place out of the sun. As far as the oil itself, brew everything you’re going to need and just cook with the rest like you would olive oil. When it comes time to brew agin just buy more.

Totally agree with this. BA will keep things fine in solution. Too many people have been having issues with stored raws. No idea what is going wrong but when you get huge PIP a year later after no PIP the first batch...something happened. Basically no expiration for sterile oil/gear in solution with good BA. Loss of a tad of potency after years as long as it's stored properly.
