Path to a 500 wilks

Accidentally dislocated my shoulder Friday night. I was hoping it would feel better by now but it's still kind of sore. So probably won't update the log until it's healed in hopefully a few more days and I am actually training hard. I can basically only squat ATM, and "ain't nobody got time for dat".

On the bright side, I'm finishing up the one meth house right now. So in a couple weeks I'll have all the time in the world to make sure I have a killer prep. Granted I don't fuck myself up again. Ha

Shitty news, wishing you a speedy recovery

How bad was the dislocation? I did that back in June. Had a chiropractor pop it back in and was lifting heavy 10 days later

I don't think it was that bad. I never went to a doctor. I just tried to scare someone on the other side of a wall by running through it. (Pretty fucking stoned, seemed funny) Well, apparently the dude nailed down his studs pretty good because I shoulder checked that thing pretty hard and it didn't budge. Lol. We ended up googling how to put your shoulder back in place and it seems a lot better now. Just not quite 100%. I imagine there was probably stretching and damage to the labrum or something along the way.

Lol, good times

Might not be able to post about powerlifting quite yet. But here is the progress on the one meth house. Getting ready to lay in floors and do the finishes. Should be done within two weeks now. Fucker was a beast. The before and after will be nice.

You really would've had to work on this job to appreciate it. All new Sheetrock throughout, new windows, new siding, new roof, electrical,n plumbing, doors, floors, basically everything. Lol.

Also, I suppose you can't tell. It's actually an upper/lower duplex. All in at $45k (bought it for less than price of land), will most likely appraise around $95k. Lower unit is a 3br 1.5ba 1050sq.ft. Already have a leasee for $650/month with nothing included. Upper is a 2br 1ba about 725sq.ft that I already have a leasee for $550/month with nothing included.

For anyone that is possibly wondering what is going on. My shoulder still is pretty uncomfortable during any form of bench. Can still do OHP, flies, rows, etc. Just literally can't bench without feeling a very weak, uncomfortable feeling in my shoulder.

My plan is to start lean bulking and building up my triceps, shoulders, and back. Whenever it feels better I'll start slowly working bench in again and hope for the best. Lol. Kind of sucks how something so silly can keep me from benching for so long. Especially when I was finally getting halfway decent at the sport. Ha. Oh well, just like the Terminator, I'll be back.

I probably could do light bench right now if I wanted to. Just to make sure everything keeps feeling good I haven't though. My ohp is doing good. (250x8 seated) If that stays up then hopefully I won't really lose much strength on bench when I get back into it.

Weight today was 183.2

Workout was,

2x8 squats @ 70% (320lbs)
2x8 paused bench @ 50% (155lbs)
2x8 deadlifts @ 70% (405lbs)
4x15 pullups
3x12 db lateral raises
3x12 preacher curl
3x12 tricep pushdown
4x8 standing calf raise

Going to start off with a 12 week "hypertrophy" phase. My shoulder feels fine on OHP and on floor/pin presses. So if my shoulder starts acting up I will probably trade bench volume off for those. The plan is to slowly increase intensity in bench and hopefully get back to benching moderately heavy 3-4x a week. I am about to FINALLY hop on a cycle in what seems like the first time in forever. So I'm pretty pumped to make some gains. Lol.

It’s crazy how trashy some people are. At what point did they think they needed all that garbage in their house. You guys made it look nice though.
