Cowboy's Switch the Darkside

I think specs wise the big name deadlift bars are similar like Okie, Rogue, and Texas. Slightly smaller diameter, longer length, and more aggressive knurling. Supposedly a Texas bar has the most whip and is the official deadlift bar of the USPA. I posted some comparison pics of the bend of my Texas bar compared to a stiff gym bar with similar weights, but not sure exactly where or when.
Smooth in the middle. Kinda suck for sumo but football socks fix that
 
Some comments

Workout today was good knee is getting better and I m hitting depth 99% of the time. Still a work in progress but my second attempt at 405 squat should be doable soon, thinking a month or so.

Bench went ok this week it felt heavy but still able to push it.

Deads well what can I say I live deads.... may try to hit 500 in January. 600 after that lol.

Appetite has been the shits, maybe due to the Christmas goodies the wife has made. Not sure I wanna weigh on Sunday. Hit fasted cardio 2x this week back to 3x next week. Going to try to start running the 3 flights of stairs at the fire hall full gear and air with push ups at the top and sit ups at the bottom if not wearing air a couple times a week as well.

January will be full on cut need to hit 200 soon so I dont lose much more strength. Was going to start the drol and the var first of January but with my hemoglobin being on the high end last donation may hold off until i donate again mid January then 2 weeks drol and 4 weeks var with 200mg test.

Re read this and it will be 2 weeks drol then 6 weeks var
 
Conundrum of the day

Started getting sick again on Saturday. Started taking a few thousand mg Vitamin C a day to try and ward it off. Not sure if cold or flu yet. Achy neck, sore throat, runny nose, cough.

Not feeling super horrible so far today. The issue go do 5 rep deads today or or skip, I dont want this go go full on flu/cold... also dont want to skip gym.
 
Lift, just don’t get carried away on the intensity or volume. It normally helps knock the shit in my sinuses loose. A bad flu, go to bed.

Been there man. I’ve done it and barely made it through the main lift, skipped accessory and went home to sleep.
 
I guess I should add that I have been doing my deads beltless until I get to my TM.

Even sick I seemed strong today, everything moved easy, hence why I went 20lbs heavier and 2 extra sets on my deadlifts... hope i dont regret that
 
So after gym yesterday I came home took a long super hot bath then jumped in bed under the covers. Within minutes sweating, sweated hard for about 45 minutes then started to feel better. Didnt get enough sleep last night but got some. Today feel like shit, fever comes and goes, chest cough, headache, and body aches... taking a shit ton of vitamin c and zinc, Buckleys complete tablets and trying to get this over with. See what tomorrow brings as it is bench day.

Been a heck of a year some good and lots bad but made it through. Wishing you all the best in the year to come.

Starting the year off with the flu. Coming around slowly. Coughing up nasty shit and out of breath climbing the stairs at home. Excited to see what I can get accomplished in the gym this year. See a 500lb deadlift in the next few weeks, maybe 600lb by end of year. Definately a 405lb squat within a month or so, maybe 500 by end of year? Bench, well damn, me and the bench press have a love hate relationship lol. Goal on bench is 315 as long as it takes.

Need to get bodyweight down to 200lbs as soon as possible, I have some ephedrine so may run it to start this off. I am afraid to step on the scale after Christmas lol.

Cycle plans for the new year....
End of Jan after donation will e 200mg test per week, 2 weeks of anadrol at 50mg per day, then 6 weeks of anavar at 50mg per day.
May do another blast in the fall maybe not but will always be on at least 200mg test per week.
