Very High Free Testosterone 528.7 pg/mL

Looking for some input on my free test levels as well as elevated AST.

Medication is
Test Cyp 200 MG per week
Deca 100 MG per week
Propecia 1mg daily

Blood work just taken
Total T 1454 ng/dL
Free T 528.7 pg/mL

On all my past blood work, prior to adding Deca and Propecia, free T was always low 30’s. This is a big jump and way off the charts. I am curious if this is commonly seen when adding Deca??

Also AST came back at 46 U/L which has always been in the normal range.
ALT normal but higher end of normal at 42 U/L. Could elevated liver enzymes be Propecia?
I plan on adding milk thistle to see if it will help lower AST and ALT. Any other advice here?

I thought I had read something on here awhile back about some running Deca only as HRT and seeing similar result. It mentioned their total T was very low but free T high and they felt good on this protocol. One guy had mentioned he had been on Deca only as HRT for decades.m with good results. I searched the forums but couldn’t find the thread. Anyone remember this?

It’s 52.8ng/dl. Which is means 3.6% of the total is being converted. My guess your SHBG is probably lower then 25. 3.6% is high. Usually your only able to pull that high of number running DHTs.

so 528.7 pg/mL on a test reference range of 35.0 to 155.0 pg/mL is actually ng/dL. I’m confused, please explain.

no DHT’s other then the conversion from test and blocking some with the finasteride.

You just move the decimal point over 1 spot. But yeah the range is a little low IMO. But it’s dependent on age. At least with labcorp it is. Overall it’s just as much out of range as your total.

And SHBG is low at 9 on a reference range of 10-50 nmol/L

That explains why my SHBG dropped to 2 when running anavar. My doc who prescribed me trt was so confused that he chalked it up to an error in the machine.
