Summer Shredz

Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well! It's been a bit since I've logged anything, so I wanted to take the time to log my current "cut" cycle etc. I'll do what I can to be as transparent as personal safety and anonymity permit.

Coming in to this cut weighing 257.5lbs around 12% BF according to a recent Dexa Scan. The goal of this cycle is essentially the goal of all cuts, to retain as much muscle as possible and lose some extra body fat. I'd love to come in around 8% BF when things are said and done, we shall see.

Training and nutrition will be the two biggest factors here, with drugs being the third largest factor (hard to choose which I feel is more important, training or diet as they are in many ways related to each other).

Training will be a slight deviation from my normal PPL style, as I will have a separate arm day each week. I'm doing this to SLIGHTLY lower the "load" on my body each day as I'm not training in a surplus. So, with that, I will have legs, chest + shoulders, back and arm days respectively.

I'm going to start at a 10% caloric deficit and see where that gets me in a few weeks. I'm fairly confident that will be enough to stimulate "change", at least for a while. I don't want to completely deprive myself as I've seen time and time again that negatively impact training (back to the relationship between nutrition and training blah blah).

Now, I know you're all mostly interested in the drugs, which I understand. I'm going FAIRLY conservative for my level and I will work up as needed. Over the years I've tried to focus less on the drugs and more on nutrition and training, which I think is a reasonable mindset more folks should have.

The initial layout will be simple:
- 700mg's tren A/ week
- 1000mg's sustanon/ week (I know a lot of folks would consider this "too much" for a cut, but I do well with higher test)
- 50mg's winstrol/day
- 3iu/ day Serostim

Primo enanthate is on hand if it's "needed" to harden things up, but I want to see where I can go with the current program for now. I also have masteron prop. as an alternative, however pinning that much - in terms of volume- of short esters is fucking irritating.

Here's a somewhat recent pic, I'll get better ones soon for you guys.

Do you start out at 1000mgs test or do you work up to it?

Never understood the “tHaTs ToO mUcH tEsT tO cuT” ideology.

If you’re lean you’re lean and holding water is not going to make a difference at single digit bf unless you’re on stage.

Looking big dude. A lean 240-245 (where I think you’ll end up) is biigggg.

Update time!

So, I've decided to pull the tren and replace it with masteron prop. I've been having WAYYY too harsh of sides this cycle, I'm not sure why they're hitting me so hard. But, the sides are not worth it IMO. I have had terrible reflux, terrible insomnia and very bad anger. Normally I'm VERY calm and collected at all times, I'm not a fan of feeling out of control in regards to my emotions. So, out with the tren.

I feel confident I can still achieve my goals without the tren, even though it sure does make things easier when it works. The lack of sleep was really fucking up my recovery and overall mood/quality of life...

The training aspect is going according to plan, I still need to be better about the cardio. I find myself dreading it and saying "I'll do it tomorrow" rather than buckling down and knocking it out.

I've been having the same conversation with myself about cardio lately, no more excuses. Thanks for the reminder. You ever try taking glutamine for the acid reflux?

@Wunderpus Good call on pulling the tren rather than trying to ride it out like most would lol.

Good to see you back. I see you’re still liking meadows-ish programs.
