Chicken protein more anabolic than beef

It’s like a medium full especially if I have my carbs just right.. doesn’t look bad. I’ll try to get more in depth sometime.
I know steak has more fat and all but i digest it faster then chicken, could be also cause steak is medium rare so there is still some enzymes in it and chicken must be well cooked...

I love beef but the older I get the more concern I have for heart disease etc. Plus I dont know why but when I eat 10 or more ounces of steak I feel like absolute shit for hours afterwards. When I do make the exception these days I tend to go with a leaner cut than i did in years past which helps with the deathly feeling i used to severely get.
On the other hand I eat so much damn chicken that im just losing my taste for it anymore and I'm force feeding myself more and more. Who knows what's next maybe I'll go vegetarian down the road for a while just to reset my taste buds again idk

I was recently at 300g protein quite easily.

In truth I'd been going off of what I've always done as far as diet goes. I recently sat down and did a complete macro count on what my average daily intake was and it came out to 300 to 350g of protein and only 250g to 300g of carbs.

Well there you go lol. That's the difference between us. You can stomach that extra fuel that I cant brother. I've gotten up to over 5k calories per day a couple times but I just cant sustain that intake daily, I just feel so awful through and through. I'm pretty jealous of you guys that can hold to those diets

I've dropped my protein to around 250 per day and have gotten my carbs up into the mid 300s for my average and the change was night and day. The problem for me being that high in carbs is the constant stuffed feeling

u must be like me 2g pro per lbs?

I do 6 oz portions for 4 meat meals with an egg meal and a whey shake (total 6). I just called it 8 oz portions and buy meat based on that. After trimming fat off it comes out about right.

When I am dieting I eat a little extra protein. When I eating for performance I eat a little less with the extra carbs and fats.

i have tried everything and for me high protein works the best..i feel stronger, digestion is awsm i am never bloated and i stay lot leaner even in off season when i eat 5000+...i never add fats, only from food like steak etc

The only days it seems like I digest beef well is after I deadlift maybe squats too but I have noticed I just recover better eating beef. I try to mix it up to help with digestion. I eat 5 meals and typically at least two are going to be a carb source and a shake. I would not be able to do this eating whole foods 5 meals a day haha
