I watched in unfold on TV just like most people, I was 28 at the time, watched it all day and into the night at work.

a misconception about our government telling the people they attacked us because they don’t like our freedoms. that’s the biggest bullshit line I’ve ever heard. they attacked us because we have military bases/installations in their countries. kind of like having Russia and China having military bases in our country. I remember legitimately our government trying to go after bin Laden in Afghanistan, but he fled to Pakistan. it turned into the United States fighting for Afghanistan’s freedom and policing their country like a police force which had nothing to do with our freedoms or liberties here in the US. we could’ve had a special forces track him down without so many of our military members killed and injured in action because our government makes stupid decisions trying to make Afghanistan a democracy.

Iraq was another total disaster and another stupid decision by our government sending our men and women into war for absolutely no reason and again to fight for some other countries freedoms which they don’t even give two shits about. such a waste of time resources and money. I feel for our military members who got called upon by their government to fight for some other country’s freedoms which had nothing to do with securing our liberties and freedoms. such a shame.

and another war in Vietnam. a stupid dumb decision by our government sending our military members to get killed for some other country’s freedom. you could add the Korean War to that as well.

Yup, absolutely right. CIA picked up on a "catastrophic event on the US" on whatever lines they have in the months prior. I know little about Israel so I wont even pretend I do. I've heard arguments from multiple sides over the past 19, I know what happened. My Grandmother had nothing.

She was committed at a young age after she tried to kill her mother, she was schizophrenic(with multiple distinct personalities), received electroshock therapy when they did that sort of thing to snap her out of it, she did manage to do some work in life, but not much. Later she was put into an assisted care living home where she lived for about 25 years until the last couple where she died in a nursing home after heart attacks.

The State sent us a notice that her total cost of care, including all of her surgeries, housing, food, endless medications(one medication for her mental problems was $1000/month), was right around $900,000.

We are in fact a socialist country, it's just that we pretend we're not because we like the rugged american myth of the marlboro man.

There are plenty of people in this country that are costing a fortune that contribute very little at all, hedge fund managers, most of the government, corporations that get endless bailouts and walk off with golden parachutes. We got an entire upper class that are basically parasites.
