How do I stop snacking?

For me, I have a few things I use.

One is a calorie counting app on my phone, but you can't just install it - you have to log all of your meals, too. The next time you get ready to grab a couple of cookies - go ahead! Just be sure to log those in your app. By the end of the day, you'll be thinking, "Holy mother of god! I could have cut 600 calories by not eating that crap!"

The other is to have foods that I routinely eat that are not exciting. For snacking, I have 4 boiled eggs that I bring with me every day. There are days that I don't eat them because they just don't call out to me. Then there are days that someone brings food to work. Before I enjoy the food they brought, I make myself eat my boiled eggs first. After I enter my 280 extra calories from those 4 large eggs, I find it a little easier to pass up the donut.

You just got to find what works for you.
 
Keep all junk food out of the house. Use a calorie counting app like my fitness pal and count every single calorie. Skip breakfast and weigh your snacks too. Don’t cook with oils or butter and use water or veggie broth instead. Eat veggies and fruit for snacks instead of chips and other calorie dense foods.

Recently I've been having such a hard time keeping in shape as well as controlling what I eat. This time last year I was sitting at 14-16% bodyfat, 5ft9" and 84kg, training was 6 times a week, diet control was good.

Fast forward to this year with lockdown and gyms being shut I've lost the ability to keep a strict diet and seem to be snacking a lot more. I have always been a big eater and prior to covid I was very active but being at home all day has obviosuly meant my fitness isn't as good as it used to be. I'm now probably sitting around 24% bodyfat, 80kg and only exercise 4 or 5 times a week.

I believe the main issue is snacking, as I'm used to eating large amounts but what I'm not used to is being at home and not moving around so much all day.

So for those who also have issue, how have you learnt to control it or what have you found fills you up but is still healthy.
Brother, if you want to stop snacking just add some ephedrine to you daily routine or use 10mg superdrol daily for less appetit.

I also suffer from immense appetit especially on tren.
If you want to keep it lowkey and healthy, do as i said, low dosages ephedrine or 10mg superdrol will bring you appetit down a little bit.

But dont up the superdrol, at 20mg it will Kill your appetite completely and same goes for ephedrine
 
I'm always trying to get creative with ways to satisfy my snacking urges, depending on what my goals are at the time.

While cutting or shedding some lbs & bf, pure willpower has to be implemented. This is where discipline must be exercised & looking in the mirror, noting my intake daily helps greatly with that.

During this phase an example of when I must consume something outside of my plan is keeping diced celery, various fresh peppers, other light veggies like fresh greens & almond milk on hand. Small portions consumed slowly give me my fix well enough. I also can hot peppers that I grow (habanero, bhut jolokia mostly) into a simple paste - sometimes I'll just taste a dab of the paste & I'm satisfied for quite a while.

When I'm seeking mass I do a little mix of what many term "dirty" AND "clean bulk". In my case that means 2 days a week I'll eat virtually anything while still tracking everything I consume.

The remaining days I am strict on what I eat/drink but when it comes to adding snacks or small meals outside of the plan, some of my examples of this are a couple tablespoons of cottage cheese mixed with natural peanut butter, or just the pb, 1 or 2 boiled eggs, an oz. or 2 of chunked or shredded poultry or fish, an extra shake, homemade trail mix & jerky just anything that I feel will satisfy my cravings without going overboard (like no fast/junk food) on those days.

We all just have to find what works individually but as I & others have mentioned - discipline is king.

Yeah this wont work well except you talking about 2 cheat meals a week and not 2 cheat Days a week, if you on juice it will fuck you HDL And LDL levels up

Your home should be full of candys and junkfood and you still choose the healthy food, even if you craving is hard, you should have enough discipline to say No i dont want it i want my dream physic and wont choose this garbage.

Its like not letting your gf out for partying because she could cheat? Like if you dont trust your girl why you with her, same goes for your logic if you dont trust yourself and know you have zero control over yourself then you should change something brother

Yeah, I understand that. It's just for me, personally only and at my age/the years of trial & error, these methods work in my case. I get bloods & panels checked very often as I have health issues that must be monitored closely & I work with my primary doc regarding virtually everything - he is well aware of my use, everything that I cycle & consume.

Everyone is of course different, I know things won't work exactly the same for just anyone like it does me.

My digestive system is quite wonky for lack of a better term at the moment, my body doesn't break things down or distribute like the average persons' may - I don't have any of my "non-vital" organs, for example. I've had a decent section of my intestines/part of my bowels removed. Part of my pancreas has been removed...among a plethora of other issues.

I'm comfortable, currently at least, with how my diet along with training is working for me. I feel great, my bloods are consistently coming back at satisfactory levels & I'm fortunate enough that ANYTIME I feel off or just not right, I'm able to be scoped out medically without much hassle.

I know monitoring bloods and panels regularly isn't always feasable for everyone. For me it's essential that I do and when anything is not where it should be or not optimal in my or my medical teams' eyes, we are quick to make changes to get back on track. It took me many years, many mistakes & trials/errors for me to feel just plain GOOD. And just to note - I was a user of aas for several years starting in my mid 20's. I took a break & long into that break is when I started having some serious health issues & it was several more years before I even thought of adding aas back into my training.

But I feel my body is unfortunately a bit more complicated to regulate than a lot of others lol, i don't know. I just know what is working for me at this point.

50g semolina flour (lower glycemic index than white rice)

160ml skimmed milk

1 whole egg

Blend everything then put it on a warmed non stick pan... then when it got drier flip it, stuff it, cover and finish cooking.. Medium heat


the green sauce has been made with:

1 avocado + ( sea salt + monosodium glutamatate ) + some water + some lemon juice... blended

One have Baked ham and Mozzarella cheese

the other one have Baked Ham + Cottage cheese

you can make a cream with skimmed milk + salt + Fat free cottage cheese , let it melt in a hoven... then put into your crepe...

Add fat free baked ham or other cured meat stuff... other fat free cheese..

Make a sweet one with a cream made of 1 tbspn of Nutella + skimmed milk + zero calories Chocolate cream... add some hazelnuts, amonds, or their butter... raw cocoa powder... breast milk... what u want... and your in business...

I had a bad crash with a bike years ago... a 636cc... years after i bought a 1000cc way powerful... a fuckin bitch crashed her car into my bike and i told myself “i wont ever buy again a sportbike ecc” ... everytime i see some bikes running near to me, everytime i hear those engines screaming i feel so fuckin bad and i want to cry... im sure that when i ll have cash again i will buy again a supersport bike... if you dont see foods that you like you can suffer less... because its so difficult to ignore them but just thinking about the Olympia etc..
