Deadlift grip

What deadlift grip do you use?

hearing alternative grip causes bicep tears. Has anyone has this happen?

so trying strictly over hand grip now.
I haven't heard of bicep tears although I could see it at super heavy weights. It does cause some spine twisting though which can be an issue, cause back/shoulder spasms, muscles to get worked unevenly, etc. I do strictly overhand and I have some Harbinger padded lifting straps to assist me when I need it. I have scoliosis so I have to bear very careful about back twisting, personally. Just stick to overhand, you won't have any problems that way.

I do overhand and hook grip when I get up around 80-90%. It hurts but I have seen lots of people pull heavy with hook grip! I tried doing mixed grip for a while but I programmed some more volume and ended up having a lot of pain and training biases. Switched to overhand everything went back to normal
