Path to a 500 wilks

Weighed in .3kg over. Ended up having to throw on the sweat suit quick and go for a quick jog. Ended up making it right on the dot. Already up to 194.2lbs. Might hit 200 by the end of the night. Lol.

So far I've had,

2 full stacks from IHOP
1/2 gallon of chocolate milk
Giant pretzel and cheese

Should be over 600 grams of carbs already. Plenty of room left in the ol garage disposal yet too.

Go get em you got this

Well, the meet is over and I still don't have a 500 wilks. Lol. Figured I would probably be closer to 470-480. Going to take a couple weeks to recover and take it easy in the gym. Then will probably start up a 16 week prep for my next meet. Will probably do this one at 198.

You think the weight cut hurt you or just had an off day? You still going to try and do nationals

Not quite sure. My squat was the only one that actually felt less than it should've been. Probably by a good 30lbs. But I didn't get to warmup for it, so that could've easily been why.
(I was riding there with my gf, and of course she ran about 20 mins behind)

im still going to nationals. Going to probably do a meet mid-april when I'm actually in PR territory on all three lifts. Then I'll take the meet a little more seriously.

Taking the rest of the week off. Kind of pumped to start my new off season phase though. Got some new bars to play around with too. Unfortunately don't have the SSB yet which was the one I really wanted. Lol. But I have a yukon bar, cambered squat bar, and a multi grip bar now. Also have a reverse hyper now too. So hopefully I can put on a little size and eventually put up some bigger numbers.

That box would sure make a great plyo-type box for those high jumps.

Is that house one of your fixer uppers?

Haha. Yeah... That's definitely not my living room.

Looking back I probably could have used a few less pieces of wood and still had it just as sturdy if I would've designed it different. But I just slapped it together in about 20 minutes without much thought.

That thing's built like a tank alright.

Lol thought you were remodeling your house.

Took a little break from painting today and used up some more of my $2 2Xs and leftover OSB and made a chest supported row. Lol. Going to use it Thursday. It seems decently sturdy though. Might have to throw another set of diagonal supports towards the top, we'll see. This was the last thing I wanted for my home gym minus the SSB.

Nice how you can make things out of wood. One acquaintance of mine built a squat rack out of leftover oak wood and the thing's pretty solid for up to roughly 600lbs.
