Running 2 programs at the same time by feelz after a injury?

Well God damn it I did it again in October and put my back out.

Previous injury was 3 hemorrhaged discs 1 fractured vertebrate. I don't know exactly what disc it was this time but I've been through it so many times before I don't give a fuck.

Also currently have tendonitis in right wrist with a ganglion cyst. Started benching suicide this year and it helps but still keeps coming back. (I know I know, don't need a lecture lol)

Both shoulders dislocate if I let them. Too many previous injuries.

Every fucking time I do this it sets me back a year due to some nasty myopathies I have got going on. Excruciating testicular pain for months blah blah. That why I ended up on trt and using gear. I trained from a very early age without ever touching gear before injuries. I just refuse to fucking wither away every time I get hurt!

Currently training HIIT in the am as well as some mobility, hips, lower back in the AM. Hypertrophy in the PM. Still taking it light as I still have a ton of back pain on waking. After a run its gone for most of the day. I have been forced to cut last cycle short obviously.

My goal is to gain enough mass around my spine where this won't happened again for a long fucking time!!!!

So was thinking of running a modified lower back program in the AM and Creeping Death 2 in the PM. Obviously cut the AM back work on pull days, maybe a hip day only to prime for leg days (day after back). Definitely modifying my pull day sub heavy deads for light Bulgarian deadlift kind of thing?

Is this too much and I'm just being moron? I don't want to give up the hypertrophy or the stuff I do for health. I know Meadows programs are brutal......

I'm doing this all just for me and to keep strong enough to farm and wrestle cows ect lol. Love looking good and shredded for the wife too!

Was considering 500T for the 12 weeks on top just to get size back on my spinal errectors.

Thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Unless I can catch a 50lb fast ball....I don't have much of a life lol.

I like the look of that rehab program, but I definitely wouldn't take on Creeping Death while doing it.

The pull days are going to be a lot for you when you're running a dedicated 5 day a week core program already and CD2 has a lot of squats, leg presses and SLDLs on leg day as well. It's a fantastic program, but not when run concurrently with your rehab program, IMO.

One of the RP templates that focus on arms or chest might be a better fit for your goals. You could look into those.

Just my 2c. Take it for what it is.

Thanks. I guess I am impatient haha.

I know during a rehab program you also usually wouldn't run a cycle. Do you think there is enough progressive overload (obviously would modify the weight as it is for the average person) to justify 500T? Assuming I run something heavy for chest, arms, shoulders in the PM

Can you elaborate on this. Not sure I know the acronym...?

I mean, running a light cycle definitely won't hurt. My only concern would be injuring yourself due to feeling stronger than your back actually is, but you know yourself better than I do, so whether that's a concern or not is up to you.

Sorry, Renaissance Periodization. They're templates created by Dr. Mike Israetel. They're intended to bring up weak body parts using your 10rm as a standard. I recommend them because they're challenging, but you can tailor the workouts to use movements that aren't going to cause you pain or interfere with your rehab program. The intensity tapers up then drops back down for the end of the training cycle to "resensitize" your body to training stimulus. The training methodology uses a "leave a few reps in the tank" approach that's pretty similar to RPE.

If you're interested, I have a few of the four day a week templates.

It was all my fault and I got super cocky. I was trying for that contest here on Meso where you put your body weight on the bar at the end of leg day and amrap your squats. Earlier that day my coach adjusted my squat to add a lot more anterior tilt...... Yup I'm a fucking idiot!

Damn that would be greatly appreciated! I will combine it with the rehab program and if you don't mind I will pick your brain on what I come up with hahah?
