Time for some size!

This does not work i think. The second i lift my leg up all my muscles “sink” in, nothing pops. I think. In the VG in line with your nipples or more like your armpit/rhomoids?
Maybe try it standing like @malfeasance suggested. If i bear my weight on the left leg and rotate my right leg in against a little resistance, my right vg kinda flexes and pops out. I find it is kind of inline with the front of my armpit, just below where my belt rides.

I actually think i found the VG. So maybe you guys can confirm.
If i stand on my left foot, then i lift my right foot 1 inch off the floor, still keeping right foot straigh, then i put my legs together. Then i twist my right foots toe to the side so my heel is essentially touching my left foots ankle, it “pops out”. But it only pops out if i squeeze my legs together while twisting my toe out to the side. Abducting my right toe, i believe.
Sounds like you got it. i'd compare it to a muscle anatomy chart to confirm your are in the right loction. After you find it, i think it gets easier to consciously flex it.

Ahh so the gluteus medius is actually what the ventro glute is. As i thought there was a ventro glute and and a gluteus medius. But that is the name of it, gluteus medius aka ventroglute. This was my confusion. I am 99% sure i found it. And i can flex it perfectly.

I found it, cool! Some of these diagrams show it so far foward as mine is more posterior then anterior. Some of these diagrams almost show it on the dam hip, which is why i was so confused.

Sounds right. You ought to be able to get it to stick out from any standing position just by standing there, and flexing without moving your foot off the floor. Like an isotension exercise. Just try to rotate your leg outward, that is, twist your leg so your toe would point outward away from centerline (right foot to right, left foot to left), but there is no need to actually move your leg or foot at all. Just the tension should be enough, just like you can flex any other muscle without moving.

Just flex it so you know where it is. Relax it before you pin, LOL!

Here is a good video that helped me. Basically anywhere in that region is fine and just avoid the bone.

At 3:20 point is where he shows the region.

I would NEVER just shove the needle in like that dam. I go super slow. Like 30 seconds to get 1.5 inches in. But when using 1 inch like 10-15 seconds.

Yes exactly, it pops like half a sphere right? I should just take a dam picture and post it.
Pretty much, yes, pop your hip out while standing, like every fitness chick on IG, you’ll see the little “half sphere” bubble. I think I stuck some 1.5” into my trochanter once or twice before I got it.
