Can I use organic cold pressed olive oil as a carrier oil? Maybe filter prior to cooking raws. Why? It's good for cholesterol... And I'm part Italian.

Sim!!Posso usar azeite orgânico prensado a frio como óleo veicular? Talvez filtre antes de cozinhar os crus. Por quê? É bom para o colesterol ... E sou meio italiano.
I was being facetious about being part Italian. Can you elaborate on why nobody uses olive oil? Maybe in English?Anch'io sono italiano, il che non significa che devo iniettarmi la salsa di pomodoro....
C'è un motivo per cui nessuno lo usa.
Would "extra virgin olive oil" be refined, or does it need to say its refined. Appreciate your time and insight bro.If you're using olive oil you need extra light refined olive oil. You want it as refined as possible. You don't want first press EV as that leaves too much behind that can go rancid.
Olive oil is something that can be used, is smooth upon injection and lasts longer than GSO, shelf life is about 24 months. The problem with it is that the viscosity is higher pushing it through the syringe is slower and it's slower filtering otherwise as long as it is refined/extra light you'll be alright.
Refined is much lighter in color. EVOO has to be stored in amber containers to protect it from light. Most containers with refined will have extra light olive oil, they are lower in price as they are presses of olives after the first press has been done and then they are put through more refining involving heat.Would "extra virgin olive oil" be refined, or does it need to say its refined. Pedro esto es esta the! Nosotros Somos italianos ... amigo tu no hablas nos idioma...Sim!!
qualquer óleo puro e natural pode ser usado !! alguns são mais grossos e outros mais finos
I see, the heat is used to kill bacteria maybe also to boil off oleic acid. Would heating then filtering not achieve this? But I guess this is moot as I'll just go with MCT for simplicity.Refined is much lighter in color. EVOO has to be stored in amber containers to protect it from light. Think about EV coconut oil, it is solid at room temp because it hasn't been refined, people have caused themselves problems when they use this sort of stuff for injections as it could harbor bacteria and when you see how it's produced you'll understand why you want crystal clear mct or mig oil, even though EV coconut oil is perfectly safe for oral consumption, it isn't for injections.
I only brew with MCT and Mig. I used to use GSO and I've tried out refined Olive oil as well, I've actually tried a bunch of different oils, but for me the refined saturated oils of coconut are my go to because they have a very long shelf life and the fact that they are crystal clear allows me to inspect the finished product easier. The lower viscosity makes filtering easier and they hold more hormone with less solvents.I see, the heat is used to kill bacteria maybe also to boil off oleic acid. Refined Olive Oil | The Olive Oil Source
According to the International Olive Oil Council, refined olive oil is the olive oil obtained from virgin olive oils by refining methods that do not lead to alterations in the initial glyceridic structure. It has a free acidity, expressed as oleic acid, of no more than 0.3 grams per 100 grams...www.oliveoilsource.com
