Just got my M&S order, after they had a good promo going for all these items plus $15 off 125. What other mass gainers do you guys like going to?

First time using a mass gianer, and also this brand of protein rule1 100% iso & hydro blend. I'll be using all this in a month or two. Can come back and review the mass gainer, on it's effectiveness, and tast.

Mass gainer is for convenience. Iv been up to 240lb on real food no protein shakes or mass gainers.

Not exactly a mass gainer, more a meal replacement I suppose, but redcon 1 MRE "real food" is a nice meal supplement. It's 525 cals, 75 grams carbs and 47 grams protein, no lactase. I've heard some of the flavors are nasty but the oatmeal chocolate chip I picked up is good

I am going to try this soon.

I tried a sample of that mre. Blueberry cobbler. I agree Wasn't yummy. 4 scoops is the full 1000cals , that's 21 servings a bag. I'll be starting with 2 scoops, that's 80 servings from bag. maybe go to 3 at the end. Another sampler I tried was optimum nutrition mass, that tasted yummy. What I think this will taste like when I try it.

Haha Im actually using a mass gainer to cut. Eating about 3200 and muscletech mass gainer. Trying to go from 240ish to at least 220
Is that the 2000cal one from muscle tech? I looked into that one for its cheaper price, but reviews on mixing it were bad. I only use a shaker cup for mixing. And it clumps bad. To be expected, but hopping this version i got here that's half the cals, will shake up better.

The one I have is 840cal. 63p 8f 131c. I think I calculated about 2.60$ per serving. It uses real grains as the carb source too

This is what I’m using too, but only 1/2 serving before bed, and 1/2 serving (2 scoops) right after training. I train early AM on an empty stomach and only some pwo, then intra carbs, I usually can’t eat for about an hour after I train but I can easily down a shake. I wanted the extra carbs and calories in MRE because I’m bulking. I use mre light any other time.

Come again?
4 scoops = 21 servings.
2 scoops = 80 servings.

How much did it cost? i'm curious what the price per (listed) serving is for the bag.

Usually I go for food, but when you do this all the time and can find a way to cut meals down to 4-5 per day and do a meal replacement shake , it does take some of the stress out of the equation for a bit

I’d suggest to stay away from “mass” gainers. All it is is garbage filler. 2 scoops ON protein. 1 banana. 2 tblsp natural peanut butter. 1 full cup of steel cut oats. (Grinder up to a powder) and enough milk to make it tolerable. I believe I used 10 oz. why use an overpriced tub of whatever when your shake can be 80% actual whole food. Plus this comes out to 1200 + calories

Just blend up some oatmeal, ice cream and olive oil. Voilà, quickest and cheapest mass gainer with lots of calories.

Most mass gainers are garbage. MRE mentioned above, and a couple others on the market, are different in that they don’t use garbage whey blends (whey at all) not cheap, sugar carb sources.
As mentioned above, making your own is fairly cheap. But I will vouch for MRE in getting the job done for me. Especially 50% off when RedCon runs it (which is often).

That ive used in the past few years:

1) Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass - tastes good, does the job, my current go to

2) Mutant Mass - tastes good, does the job

3) Russian Bear 5000 - legendary, the worst tasting supplement i ever used, 5000kcal per serving, loaded with all kinds of herbs not normally seen in a weight gainer, so bad tasting it should probably be illegal but everyone should try it once in their lives.

I couldn't keep up with continue use. Issue was it got boring ,just like protien shakes .

What's not boring is eating food instead .

You can find oatmeal powder at the grocery store in the baking section. It's what I use so you don't have to grind it. Red mills oat flour
