I've heard the health community in the UK was really pushing to normalize this because it's a safer method than using IV drugs. I think it might be a little more common there?

I've also heard of people resorting to this when they run out of real estate on their arms with collapsed veins and infections from so many IV injections.

We had a teacher in highschool that suggested consuming mushrooms though the butt. Pretty weird stuff. I've heard it is a more effective way to get the drugs in your system faster.

When I was a teenager they called it plugging, but I only ever heard of it with pill form drugs like ecstasy. You could always spot the pluggers because they went straight to the bathroom after they bought their pills rather than asking for something to drink.
