TRT only temporary

Hey guys,
I have had some blood work done recently as I've been fairly weak and tired for a few months now and I thought my body just had to get use to manual labor (auto mechanic) I maybe do a 3-4 brake jobs so nothing really intense just never worked a manual labor job before. All the other mechanics don't seem to be affected or tired and weak like I am.

So I ask the doctor did some blood and everything is in the normal range.
I thought maybe my testosterone was low but I guess it's within normal range.
Seems like such a broad range though.

It was a drawn at 9am. I was fasted for 18 hours before so I'd assume this the absolute peak my testosterone will ever be in the day.
I was thinking to try TRT and see if I feel better.

Do you know if I go on trt and decided to stop taking it and do the pct my testosterone will go back to my pre trt levels? I just don't want trt to permanently mess up my natural test lvls if I decide trt isn't the solution.

That is what pct drugs are made for. No telling for absolute certain if your natural levels will bounce back to where they are now, but if you aren't on for too terribly long and at a low dose to boot, your chances are pretty good at making a full recovery.

Why even stop? Why would you want to go back to your "normal" levels when they are causing you to be tired and weak?

According to the blood work I have normal levels. So not sure if that's even causing me to be tired and weak.

If TRT never shut you down and it acted more like an aid then taking over I would be on TRT instantly.

I might just try HGH instead of TRT. But I'll ask for another blood test and ask more about hormones vs a general one.

There could be a million reasons for this. Maybe your sleep sucks. Maybe you’re stressed. Maybe your diet sucks.maybe you don’t drink much water throughout the day. Maybe you don’t exercise. Ect.

why did you only check testosterone? Could be another hormone. Could be your liver is strained from your lifestyle. don’t guess start self medicating. Find the actual root cause so you can find a solution.

Have your iron and ferritin levels checked. I was dealing with extreme fatigue and feeling like shit every day in 2019. Got checked and found out I not only had an iron deficiency, but anemia as well because of it. Supplementing with iron didn't raise it a whole lot and I ended up having to do an iron infusion. My Test was checked at the time they checked for iron and it was in the 700's. After my infusion, it dropped to mid 500's. Not saying this is your issue, but it's a possibility and it doesn't hurt to check.

How old are you? How long have you been training if at all? I wouldn't jump on anything you "think" will help as you're just going to end up worse off than before. Answer the questions they guys posed so we can help you from a more calculated and intelligent approach.

what do you consider "too long"?

I mean, temporary trt is basically just doing a cycle unless he plans to stay on for a year or more at trt dosages. Then his chances of bouncing back would likely decrease.

You won't bounce back, even with the best PCT your numbers will likely level out lower than now. It's a pipe dream

just getting into manual labor, in the dead heat of summer. that will take it out of anyone. but make sure youre taking care of yourself too. someone mentioned hydration, i can tell for sure when im dehydrated and trying to work hard, i get gassed soooo quick. also, feed the machine! and rest up. Maybe the additional work requires additional recovery you just arent accustomed to. Something i also underestimated in my own life was stress.

if it really is your test levels, there are other options beside exogenous testosterone, especially if fertility is a concern. but cover the basics first, cause test isnt going to fix those anyway.

Diet is on point. Lots of vegetables, very low sodium, high protein from egg whites and grains. Healthy fats only from olive oil and fish, lots of fiber, Plenty of water.

I workout every other day but nothing to serious, just full body 3 sets each part.

I had an old friend/doctor that I was talking to today and showed him my full lab results and said everything looks good and not to mess with testosterone at all. I asked him about HGH and he was actually taking it, so I might try some just for the heck of it. He said it won't really build muscle but will help you recover more efficiently.

Anyone of you guys tried just HGH before? I know you guys stack with other steroids to build muscle but I'm just trying to aid recovery vs build muscle fast.

At 30 your GH levels might still be fine too. You can get that checked as well. You could end up replacing what you were already naturally producing on your own. Not worth guessing.

I must say I hear “diet is on point” all the time and that’s usually when it isn’t. It saying that’s definitely the case here.

how many grams of protein, carbs, fats? Calories? At your weight given that you workout and started a manual labor job, you probably aren’t eating enough to recover.

I suggest the following:
- do a lot of research on a proper nutrition plan
- get bloodwork again but check “everything”. Make sure all your hormones are balanced. Make sure all your organs are in good shape.
- track your sleeping
- make sure you’re not over training
/not giving yourself a chance to recover.

At 6' tall and 138 lbs, you need to go eat a cheeseburger or something. In all seriousness, give me a break already, HGH?? No, go eat! You are tired because you probably aren't eating enough and doing manual labor on top of that. EAT!!

While I do agree with the above statement to "eat" due to height and weight...he isn't necessarily here to hop on juice and become a mass monster. Judging by his posts, he isn't even an avid exerciser. I think he's just here to get more info on TRT and ask some questions.
