Short Bicep / Long Tendon

How many of you have short biceps / long tendons? I wish I was blessed with the long bicep / short tendon, but that isn't the case. I'm wondering if anything can be done to increase the size of the lower part of the upper arm. I believe the answer is "not much can be done" since all of that is just tendon and joining tissue, and not actual muscle.

I have fairly high bicep insertions, too.

About all that you can do, like Mac said, is build the brachialis and forearms with hammer curls, reverse curls etc. to minimize the gap.

I’ve had good results doing high rep (20+) incline curls, as well. They’re good for building overall arm thickness which kind of helps hide the weak spots.

Build up your brachialis and your forearm. Bout all you can do on the front of your arm to take up space.

Thanks, I will incorporate more exercises like that. May go for the higher repetitions as well, or "21s" / partials.

Can’t change what you can’t change.

But hit heavy hammer DB curls, heavy hammer cable curls, slow reps, high rep work 12-25 and you will be able to grow your arm

Good info Mac and thanks as I've been cursed with the long tendons and short biceps muscle. So heavy hammer curls are it..

Had some damage to the left one from a blow to the base of the tendon so hoping not to do any more damage to it.
