I know it sounds old school and out dated but did any of you new posters know that you can grow by getting stronger and eating more?
How many of you have tried adding 500-1000 grams of food and 100-200 more grams of protein instead of half a gram or a gram or even any more gear at all?
How many of you stopped trying to use rpe/rir and more volume and instead tried training harder and not stopping your sets until you can’t move the weight? Then pushing more weight or reps the next time you train the movement?
I’ve had warm up sets that felt like I had one more rep in the tank but then I add 45-100lbs to get to my work set and I beat my previous weeks numbers.
My rpe felt like a 7 or 8 on the warm up set. I was in reality nowhere close.
