Can you still get roid acne if you remove your hair follicles from your chest?

The reason I’m asking is because I only ever get acne that grows out of my hairs on the chest/arms/etc.

A doctor recommended pulling out the hair and letting it drain. That seems gross. What if I just have all my hair laser removed?

Has anyone done that? Any success?

Wtf man?

No. Just no.

For myself no probably won’t make a difference. Estrogen fluctuations is what brings mine out. Go grab some otc anti acne cream and get a deep tan and it will disappear.

It’s a legitimate question. Go away, troll.

Eat a dick @Bork

Go ahead and remove all your fucking hair follicles then. See what happens. What a fucking retard.

Skin PORES are totally different than hair follicles.

There’s a www.google.com site that would be perfect for all your retarded questions you so desperately need answered. Mommy mommy, you didn’t love me enough so now I seek out the attention of strangers on the Internet.

I have one of the hairiest chests I've ever seen. I typically only get acne on places that don't grow a noticable amount of hair. I think you're probably looking in the wrong place for a solution.

Have you tried the basics of eating clean, taking a shower and scrubbing with dish soap, changing sheets regularly, etc?

Yea. And you’re NOT a troll. Got it Bork.

Can you please go back to whatever fucked up forum you came from? The mods probably found you adorable but here at MESO we will call out your stupid bullshit.
Do you have any idea how fucking stupid you sound half the time? Nearly every thread you reply on makes me wonder if you’re intellectually disabled.

I use dish soap now, showering multiple times a day, changing sheets every two days, etc.

Currently I’m not getting more acne than normal, but I still expect to. When I do get acne, it’s only on places with hair. It seems like roids don’t necessarily cause traditional acne for me, but folliculitis.

Wondering if there’s anyone who has a naturally bare chest that doesn’t get chest acne, of if it’s related. Seems to be that the pores get clogged and mess with the hair follicle.

Yep. I sound stupid. You’re looking online for “naturally bare-chested men”.

You don’t have folliculitis if it’s cause by PED use. Type in “cystic acne”.

It’s very common amongst steroid users. Nothing to do with hair follicles.

The pore would still be open to infection would it not?
Yes, absolutely. But without hair follicles, there is less room for pores to get clogged. Hear me out.

- Hairs grow through pores.
- A collection of sebum and dead skin cause a clogged pore.
- Hairs and hair follicles take up space within the pores, making it easier for oil to become trapped.
- Trapped oil causes mild inflammation due to bacterial build up.
- Mild inflammation develops into an infection, causing a rupture of the follicular canal, which is your standard pimple.

It seems like removing hairs would significantly reduce BOTH the folliculitis and acne problems. While the root cause of each is somewhat different, they both affect the same part of the pore.

Now, obviously you need to follow proper care afterwards or you’ll develop acne anyway since the pores are likely to become inflamed. But from a cursory Google search, it seems it really does help a lot if it’s done right, just that it needs multiple sessions.

What I’m wondering is if anyone here has done this successfully…

Do it and report back. You sound like you know exactly what you’re talking about.

Actually, it appears that Bork could be telling the truth. I didn't think hair follicles got pimples either. But according to this article from a John Hopkin's website acne is a disorder of both hair follicles and sebaceous glands.

Acne

"What is acne?
Acne is a disorder of the hair follicles and oil glands (sebaceous glands). The sebaceous glands secrete oils (sebum) to keep the skin moist. When the glands get clogged, it can lead to pimples and cysts."

Looks like laser hair removal does help improve acne, too. I just looked that up. But do you permanently want to remove your body hair? I'd talk to a dermatologist first for some topical solutions.

I want to remove my chest hair anyway… because I look like a fucking gorilla.

I'll send you 3 vials of bunk BaboonPharma test-e if you take a video of yourself doing it while plugging yourself with a brillo pad and send it to me
I’ll do it anyway and report back with the results. Except the Brillo pad… you can keep the bunk test, I got plenty of it from naps and eroids recs.
