You generalize into major groups. Do you know many people don't identify themselves to one political party or person (like Trump). Some people have conservative values and liberal values.
Do you hate everyone that doesn't have the exact same religious beliefs as you? All I hear from extremists is how horrible the US is. If its so fucking bad, why are you here?
Bottom line is most of what you see in the news is not impacting you directly so why not just worry about shit you can control that does impact you?

As I understand, antibodies expire. Whether they come from the virus or a vaccine, same deal.
Also, the antibodies you get from covid would be unique to that strain where the vaccine claims to be more robust against variants.
I havent had the shot, but I'm starting to see more dumb arguments from people opposed to the shot and I'm not sure that's the company I want to be in.

I am not antivax but I waited as long as I could and I finally got my first shot at the beginning of the month.
My reasoning being that I am not going to be prevented from doing what I want to do simply because I did not a get a vaccine that will LIKELY help me from what we know at the moment.
I really would have liked to see data on long term effects first and I can see arguments and reasoning on being hesitant from this perspective.
I would have preferred to wait but it is what it is and I know the chances of me having major severe reactions are quite slim so why let it stand in the way of me doing what I want to do with no restrictions (no adverse reactions at all so far).

I try to stay away from making opinions about shit I have no business making.
However, we make our decisions based on whatever. My sister is physicians assistant in Long Beach CA and salt lake city.
I asked her about people with the vaccine getting covid and is it true the symptoms are less for people with the vaccine. I ask how that's measured, she said 99.9% of their covid cases that require hospitalization are unvaccinated. That was a strong one for me.
