Filtering large batches

What do you use to filter large batches?...Saayy 1000-2000mls(into open sterile 10ML vials)...?

Most of my reading has turned up that it's a slow and frustrating proccess for most...is there a way to expedite this process a bit(W/o compromising sterility)?
New to homebrew, needless to say. Thanks

Thinner oils obviously filter faster. I find some compounds also filtered faster than others. A vacuum pump makes it easy because you can just walk away and come back to it finished.

I wouldn’t pour your 1-2 litres in. Start with 3-500ml max and I’d probably change the filter every 500ml. After 500ml it will filter very slow.

warm oil will be thinner and have better flow better. Thinner oils like MCT will filter faster than thicker oils such as GSO.

I use a hand vacuum pump on my bottle top set up and it does take quite a while. An electric vacuum pump would make the process a hundred times easier, but I can’t justify the cost for how much I home brew.

good luck

This one worked wonders. Get a 1A outlet and wire it.

Two litres is quite a lot, so it will take you a long time to fill and crimp everything.

You need: bottle top filter 2*1l, gl45 laboratory glass bottle 2*1l, a vacuum pump and a dosing pump attachment. Everything must be autoclaved beforehand, apart from the filter.
For filling, you need a clean room (as clean as possible). Either you build one from one or more storage boxes (the transparent ones), which is relatively time-consuming, or you build a temporary room, which is time-consuming and you can only use it once.
That the vials and stoppers have to be autoclaved should be obvious.
