Why doesn’t it work? Having your cake and eating it to in this scenario?
It’s not the food, it’s lack of education and everything over complicated. I eat fast food sometimes daily. I just account for calories. I’ve worked with a lot of people who did amazing because I taught them how to account for calories and that they didn’t have to give up any food they enjoyed. When people go on restrictive diets they eventually fail.
As far as Michelle Obama and her failure she wanted to make school lunches smaller some kids depend on those. There’s no bad food and there’s nothing wrong with corn syrup. The food doesn’t make anyone fat it’s amount. In fact the biggest problem people have isn’t losing weight it’s keeping it off because they try restrictive unsustainable diets that don’t teach them anything. I’d never tell anyone that any food is off limits or bad. Life’s too short people should atleast enjoy their energy source.
Yeah, but you also exercise enough and have fbe body mass/BMR to support that habit.
Food does make people fat...not by itself, but some foods are far, far more likely to cause weight gain than others. A double big mac is literally the full daily calories for some people and they still eat other meals on top of that. The issue is that fast food and processes foods are chemically formulated to be as addictive as possible.
Personally I truly enjoy healthy foods. Like I love broccoli with some salt. I love chicken breast. I love quinoa or barley. I can't stop eating sweet potatoes when I make them. The fast food and shit actually literally doesn't taste good to me; the thought of eating them disgusts me.
Yes, if people ate them in moderation they would be fine. The problem is that so few people are capable of doing this because they are ruled by their sugar and fat addictions.
I think there are SO MANY other ways for people to enjoy their food that don't involve eating fast food or overly processed junk food.
IMO you are getting to nuanced with the Michelle Obama thing. I wasnt saying her whole program was perfect, but it was a good idea or trying to debate about her program in depth. Unfortunately nany parents seem to get offended at the very suggestion that their blob of a kid is fat or obese and the idea that they couldn't eat a fucking twinkie for lunch causes then significant distress.
In the end, I have no hope for the health if the global population. Everyone, everywhere is getting fatter and more unhealthy. We are constantly being exposed to more and more endocrine disruptors in our household products, pollution, etc.
You obviously know nothing about farming. I've seen that from your prior posts.
If it weren't for government subsidies, you would be paying $30 dollars for a loaf of bread trust me.
Believe me theres not a farmer dead or alive who like the government interfering with us. Do you actually think we asked for it? Lmao
I never said they do enjoy it or asked for it. Not sure why you jumped there. I just said it is hypocritical that they get these subsidies and yet they bash and support candidates that want to cut food stamps, etc. That is it. Just that, nothing more. The government helps everyone out here and I am grateful for it. I definitely understand the economic impact behind this whole thing, so please don't underestimate that.
