I wanted to create a thread that has all of the compound displacements that I could find (not including the standard ones already found on basskiller). It was driving me crazy that I was unable to find the displacement of several compounds that I am going to brew. Then I realized it was really easy to figure these out. I simply searched for "chemical properties of xxxx" (xxxx being the compound I wanted to brew). Densities of these compound are very easy to find this way. Then to calculate the displacement, I just divided "1/density".
So far these are the 5 compounds I have. It is not hard to find more of them, but I looked these up because it was the only ones I need right now:
DHB: .905
NPP: .986
Trest A: .909
Primo E: .952
Bold cyp: .870
Please feel free to add any others to this thread, and I will add more as I brew more. But that could be a long time (years) in the future. These figures are all rounded to the nearest thousandth.
This may seem trivial to some, but those of us that are more hell bent on being exact, I believe this is very useful.
