Will you get the covid vaccine ?

Our company sent us a letter on Friday we need to be vaccinated by the 27th or else find a new job. I’m in NY so I’m not surprised one bit. Our union is a bunch of cuckholds and told us they can’t do anything.

What about weekly testing?
Nope. We have a contract to do work for the state. The state said there’s no way we could keep up with who’s tested and who’s not. Our insurance company also said they won’t cover PCR tests for unvaccinated people.

I work for a private employer but as I’m sure you know the recent turn of events is making any with more than 100 employees mandate the vaccine or undergo weekly testing. I am going to claim religious exemption, or do the weekly testing. Anything but the jab.

I see a lot of lawsuits in the near future.

It's going to get interesting. Postal workers are exempt, the deadline for health care workers keeps getting pushed back, etc. What are the reasons for this? Is it because they fear how many employees they are going to lose in an economy already suffering from a labor shortage?

Sure, some will go get jabbed based on the recent turn of events out of fear of the consequences. But the remaining Americans who haven't gotten it at this point aren't going to, and many, myself included will be calling their bluff. If they had to fire everyone that didn't get jabbed, with the said labor shortage we are already in, that would be economic suicide. On the outset one might think the "80 million Americans" are powerless, but in reality the cards are in their hands.

That said, I have money put aside to retain a lawyer.

First reported by WaPo, fuckstick. Now that it’s been corrected I would absolutely edit the post if I could.
One if the biggest issues surrounding this is the fact that you can't have a succinct conversation about it. To delve into it requires knowledge of the first few coronavirus releases (wording was intentional), knowledge of the mRNA platform, and what we actually know about pre-proteins eliciting the correct immune response to achieve the desired reaction, which should be that vaccinated people don't get it transmit the disease. This iteration fails in both regards.

EDIT: my response doesn't actually address mac11wikdcat's post but I do hate that it's a "do as I say not as I do" situation for some while others get fucked.

That fucking sucks man. It's crazy how easily groups can be strong armed by people in power.

Nope won't do it. I work for myself. Hope I can keep my business going. It's been on my mind, coming up on the season I spend more time inside customers homes. I live in a democratic turd hole bail reform fear monger state, Walmart is already loaded with the wide eyed terrified mask looking people. Toilet paper was sold out at the market.

Even tho I won't do it part of me still thinks it's comical I'll buy gear off a random stranger on the internet and push it without a second thought.

I just don’t understand the need to push it. We all have seen the statistics for dying from it. Its minuscule. The people that SHOULD have the vaccine are the people who are at high risk. My wife works in health care and she tells me the majority of people who suffer and die from covid are typically people that have high risk factors. There are anomalies of healthy individuals contracting covid and becoming very sick but it is the exception not the rule.
