Test E 425mg + var last 4 weeks first cycle log

Well I pulled the trigger on my first cycle. Pinned 60 mg in my left delt this morning (test E 250 from jet labs) goal is 420 a week

Went smooth as butter. About an hour and a half later now and no burning or discomfort. Didn't even have a lump after injecting. Used a 31g 5/8 slin pin.

Cals; aiming for 3300 calories a day+/- 200 cals, focusing on all clean foods, no dirty bulk. Will take some beginning pics after work today. Sitting around 16-20% bodyfat currently

Goal is to spend first 6/8 weeks putting on mass, potentially drop calories for the end when I introduce var. Plan to cycle for 16 weeks.

Training is each muscle group 2x a week, legs one day, chest and back the next, and shoulders and arms last, rest day and repeat.

Current stats; 6'2" 220lb. 255 bench 455 deadlift 365 squat. Coming up on three years of training, 21 years old
 
Due to literature/individuals stating that it makes estrogen release a bit more tolerable. Scared of gyno and don't mind hitting myself with a slin pin ED. That and I want to mimic natural production more closely and avoid highs and lows.
That's fair, usually when I blast I pin test Cyp EOD, largely for the same reason (I feel like I get less sides pinning more frequently) but a lot of times I see guys doing stuff without a good reason, so I am glad to see you thought this through. If ED injections get to be too much I think you could go with EOD and still be just fine.

Have kept that thought in the back of my mind and I have some 25g 1" just in case of that w some 3ml syringes.

So far jets stuff is giving me minimal pip and a tiny ache is developing in my left delt, but I expected as much.

That MCT oil is nice, only took maybe 30 seconds to push the shot through a 31g. Definelty easier than I was expecting, I was pretty nervous about doing my first shot until i just jabbed it in and went for it.

If you have never cycled before, your virgin muscles are just trying to get used to it. Eventually you'll be "hardened"

I don't want to lecture you about being too young, because I believe you are, so I'll leave it at that.

At the very least you seem to have done your research and you aren't being haphazard like some of the more recently joined members.

Even I was saying I was going to wait a couple more years about a month ago, but I have been throwing the pros and cons back and forth for a while now, outside of that I decided about a year and a half ago at some point I was going to cycle, so definelty not a decision made lightly. I appreciate the concern, I know it comes from the idea of harm reduction.

I know these goals are lofty but my intention is to go pro, and I'm not ignorant enough to think I'd get there without some hormones. I did my best to make sure I waited till I felt ready and not just force it. And I plan to stick to test/var/primo or mast for these first couple years.

I know you guys don't care about my justifications lol, they have been said hundreds of times before. But I just want to emphasize this wasn't a choice made within a week.
 
Scared of estrogen conversion, but, bulking at 20%(probably higher) BF, that’s a recipe for extra E2. You’re going to end up at 22-24% and have a drawn out, miserable cut.

Will post current physique pics after this workout. More of r comping and then bulking over a 16 week period, my test levels were lower than I would have liked when I got bloods pulled a couple months ago, made necessary lifestyle and diet changes, still no change so here we are. I have cut down from 275 naturally before. I know what I'm in for.
 
Lighting and camera aren't doing me any favours but here we are

What is your shoulder/arm day looking like? If I don't split up shoulders and arms I feel like I either get a shit arm workout or a shit shoulder work out.
Db shoulder press 5x5 heavyweight, I use 70-75 per side, then a machine ohp to finish them off with less need of stabilizing, then I will typically do drop sets of later/front raises, and finish with a reverse fly movement, I pick a couple exercises I like that feel good and pound volume into them basically.

Arm day lately has been db curls, supinated grip (think holding a bowl of soup) and work the tricep directly after to pump both at same time because they are agonist & antagonist, I will typically sit on a bend for the curls, then lay back with same db set and start doing unilateral tricep extension skullcrusher style, but alternating sides, and then on my last set of curls and extensions I will do a drop set typically 30-20-15 sometimes finish with a 10 if I really want to pump everything. After that I typically go to concentration curls, then hit a set of overhead extensions after for tris, single arm work now mostly focusing on pump, and then I finish with cables and if I feel like it unilateral preacher curls.

On my cycle I'm combining these days though so I basically combine these two workouts and just start from heaviest work that requires arm strength like for ohp, then work my way down. I don't use bars typically unless I am on cables

So far only feelz and anecdotes to report, hit a 20 lb PR on bench for 5 last night (245).

Visually I can see my muscle looks more full and round, workouts feel way better, contractions have me cramping, going to have to increase potassium for that.

Visibly leaning out fairly quickly as well, I don't really weigh myself but judging off the mirror I'm probably down 2 or 3 pounds of fat from my last pics

8 days in and I can definelty feel the effects. Shoulder pressed 85 lb dumbbells 2x5 last night, that's a 30 pound PR from my last shoulder day (good form was maintained)

Vascularity is increasing every workout, pumps are becoming unmanageable (in the best way)

I have been feeling some crazy heightened aggression compared to before cycle. Downstairs neighbour was being a dickhead last night and I flew off the handle way sooner than I typically ever would, other than that I haven't noticed any sides such as oily skin or acne, so that's a plus. I have been sweating about 3-4x as much as usual at workouts though
 
Your temperament should stabilize, in theory, as your blood levels stabilize. Just keep an eye on yourself as you should be more self aware when cycling.

At 8 days in your about 60% saturated (pulling the number out of my ass) but at about mid week 2 to week 3 you should be stable.

Don't go to heavy to fast, to avoid injury and enjoy the ride...

Thanks for the advice, yes pretty much exactly how you say, if I can be self aware that it's probably not really me feeling this way then I can reign myself in, which I have been good with so far from what I can tell
