It depends on what you call "Strict." Many of the countries mentioned do a better job of catching it (e.g., Australia) or violate what we in the US think of as basic civil liberties (e.g. Sweden and profiling bodybuilders), but in terms of penalties available, US.

In many states here it is a felony to possess one tablet of dianabol, conviction of which can cost you your rights to vote and bear arms, and other negative effects (occupational licensing, etc.). Many employers won't hire convicted felons, especially during times when unemployment is high, as they have too many applicants without a criminal record to even consider you.

Im from israel and here, if its for personal use and amount you hold do not exceed "3 months" supply then its totally ok, nobody will care.

In Australia anabolics are scheduled on the same tier as meth and cocaine , so depending on what state you are charged in depends on a potential 15 - 25 year prison term if caught with more than 50grams.
I haven't seen those sentences handed out but you would hate to be the poor bastard that does get that kind of time.
