Workouts seem really short? Anyone else?

If you're focused are enough when growing i do 4 sessions a week two of them are 45 minutes the other two (legs, back) were 55 minutes.
Can't train more time that's instinctively
On cutting I was just doing 5 session 45-55 minutes just to lower intensity some and increase volume to not burn.
I usually always do my legs more in time, especially when I train them hard. And so I do the back and arms very shortly in time.

I am trying to make mine shorter. I have a hard time getting under an hour. Historically, I have been more like 1.5 hours, and when I used to train all legs (quads and hamstrings and calves) together I would be more like 1.75-2 (some of that brought on by the rest periods needed to keep from puking).

I am shortening it these days.

I’ve never thrown up from a workout in 18 years, but the closest I’ve ever come was when I was doing BB/power building type leg workouts back at the end of last year, start of this year. That shit is brutal lol.

Keep in mind, this includes 4 years in the Marines and 3 years of competitive strongman.

For this reason, I like to train more in the style of powerlifting, I really do not like to rush and part with sets. Although I still liked circuit training, but this is for a change.

I got close a couple of times when I was training squats with gear. I stood over the sink and thought now I would vomit, but no, I held it back

I think theres a balance there, you want enough time to recouperate between sets so your limiter isnt the cardiovascular system, and give the muscle and CNS enough time to recover and be ready for the upcoming worksets.

As long as you are consistent with your rest periods i dont think it matters much, unless you are trying to do metabolic work or something like that, just dont be lazy and go when you are ready physically and mentally if the goal is hypertrophy or powerlifting.

It is clear that in the system and everything should be cyclical work to replace recovery. The central nervous system also trains and develops if it is trained correctly.

Your broken english makes it very hard to understand what you are saying.

Sorry for my English. I meant that the central nervous system can also adapt and develop if it is also given its turn to load and then unload. I mean everything should be cyclical work-rest-work-rest. I hope I was able to explain
