So I will be doing my first brew in a few weeks ( still waiting for my orders ). Today I did a few test runs to sterilize my vials and rubber stoppers. I also bought autoclave bags, just to be safe and try it out. First run was 121*C for 30 minutes. But the rack inside the instant pot was too low and so the autoclave bags with vial and rubber stopper inside got wet and the arrow that indicates if it did get enough heat also didnt turn fully black.
So I did another run, this time higher in the instant pot with a higher rack. But still alot of moisture. How do you guys deal with this moisture? I know some guys put it in the oven but to me it feels like I am contiminating it with air and I will have to buy a new clean oven
any tips? thanks in advance
