Well the steroid ban worked so good, I don’t see why a gun ban wouldn’t?

It's never a bad thing to stock up on stuff they'll potentially ban. I doubt he'll get a ban through. He may try to EO mags and such.

If they ban certain types of guns or standard capacity magazines, they won't stop the violence. They will be successful in turning a lot of otherwise law abiding, good citizens into outlaws.
The solution to gun violence isn't to take guns away from people who are not dangerous. I can't imagine a worse outcome than a society where only the bad guys have guns.
If he could do that I think it would have been done by now.

My favorite thing about living here is the victim blaming.
"You shouldn't have left your luggage in the car" to tourists that stop for 10 minutes to buy an overpriced clam chowder bowl only to have their belongings, passport, etc stolen.
How about we enforce the laws we already have?

During the "pandemic", when we were having the essential and non essential businesses, the state of California deemed weed dispensaries essential, but gun stores were not.
And I do love me some good weed, but that is some straight up bullshit. Not that it really matters though, anyway. In order to purchase a firearm legally, you have to undergo a 10 day waiting period that can sometimes turn into longer than that.
You need a background check and pay an extra fee to even purchase ammo. And if you don't have a real ID, I was told by the DMV that you can't even buy ammunition, let alone purchase a firearm.
This place has turned into a 3rd world shit hole in a lot of ways. I'm fortunate enough to live in the mountains but the cities are pretty fucking disgusting at this point.

Yep. You need a firearms safety card and your ammo purchases are logged. The future worry is, what if they start requiring you to have a matching registered firearm to the caliber you're purchasing.. Yes i have multiple uppers and conversion barrels so i unstand how unfair that would be. Still it's a scary thought
Thankfully i hoarded my heart out back in 2012. Rifles and shotguns weren't even registered in california prior to 2014. Just handguns.
