Are you using the Metformin for the insulin sensitizing effects? I've only tried it a few times, but, I always ended up with GI-related issues... For me, Berberine *seemed* to provide the same benefits, without the GI stress. Curious to hear how it's working for you.25 days into this HGH cycle, still no numbness or stifness or noticeable water retention at the moment.
Sleep is good, I don't wake up during the night and I usually have 7 hours straight of sleep.
I got a slight recent injury on my shoulder that need to be diagnosed (I hope is not the same syndrome that attacked my trap nerves) and I'm coming from a neurophaty that hit my trap and some back muscle, so I'm not at my best physique wise, especially after having since January an atrophied trap and my scapula not being kept in place from the lack of (don't know the name) the muscle that well does keep it in place : /
Training and diet is consistent I have reduced metforming to one extended release pill of 750mg a day, taken in the morning and added 0.25mg a week of semaglutide.
Appetite is down but I'm eating the same as always plus one/two cheatmeal a week. So calories in/out are consistent the same as before, if I lose bf/weight, this will be for a better insulin sensitivity and of course the HGH.
We will see how it goes.
Yes I'm using metformin to keep BG in controls and to keep insulin sensitivit at a good level or better combat the insulin resistance given by GH.Are you using the Metformin for the insulin sensitizing effects? I do not believe I used the extended release (it's been years). I will look into it! The benefits of Metformin seem obvious... However, the side effects didn't justify its usage for me. Maybe the extended release will solve that problem! Thank you!Yes I'm using metformin to keep BG in controls and to keep insulin sensitivit at a good level or better combat the insulin resistance given by GH.
GI issues have happened at first with Metformin instant release but it subsided few weeks later, max 3 but after 2 it was already better.
Of course it was dosage dependant as well BUT I have found that Extended release on the contrary doesn't give me any issues at all. I have taken 750mg twice a day and it has been perfect. Now that I have started with semaglutide I'm taking only once a day in the morning.
When I'll finish my storage of Metformin 750 EX I'll buy 500mg EX and take twice a day morning and afternoon
You should try it, extended release is the shit![]()
Try it out, for me it was night and day. Report back after you test it. I hope it works for you the same as it did for me! You as well!! I've been mostly absent as I found the forums have really degraded over the past few years... However, I'm hoping things are starting to improve and there's an interest on my end to be an active member again...Try it out, for me it was night and day. Report back after you test it. I just came back after a very long hiatus. Things are different for sure, time goes some shit stay the same however. I have came back with a different approach, I ain't losing my time flaming shill or sources and policing around, don't have the will anymore. Trying to contribute where I can if I know something or have any knowledge that can be shared and trying to learn things I don't (plenty). Not going further than this. You as well!! I feel similarly. Us vets, for lack of a better term, can provide a fair bit of knowledge and experience to the newer generations. I tried this attempt a while back and was smothered by new members that didn't know a damn thing about what we're doing... Hopefully that crowd has been educated and/or exiled from this board....I just came back after a very long hiatus. Things are different for sure, time goes some shit stay the same however. Maybe fix your training and diet before spending more and more money on drugs, then you might be able to grow some muscle
The money you save on all the drugs you abuse could be used to take your girl somewhere nice, make her happy instead of thinking about yourself and your drug problem
Are you a clown full-time or just on your off days?
Why don't you come here and try to make my girl happy, I'll wait for you buddy :*
Now you had your moment of glory, I'm done answering you. Enjoy your life, I'll try to enjoy mine with my shitty physique and my drug abuse problem![]()
Berberine is what I use for the insulin sensitivity too. On 6iu of the grey tops, eating around 500 grams of carbs a day, taking 500mg of berberine twice a day. fasted blood glucose in AM is mid to high 80s, blood work had my insulin around 5-6uIU/ml, and my hemoglobin A1c is 5.3%. Overall I’d say the berberine works. Wanted to try berberine before metformin because I had heard metformin can fuck with GI.Are you using the Metformin for the insulin sensitizing effects? I am essentially in the same boat. I've found the Thorne berberine works best for me... If I take 500mgs w/o carbs I start to feel hypo, which seems to be a good sign. With some other manufacturers this doesn't occur...Ber

I can't say the same... with 4UI from Optitropin I hold a ton of water.. 2 attempts done and in both gained 4-5 kgs within 3 days!I'm srsly surprised of the quality/cleaness of this HGH compared to my experience with meditrope/blacktop from TP (the latter was good but holy cow I would have never been able to go straight to 4IU without becoming a ball of water and misery)
Second for berb, I tried metformin and day 1 i was nauseous all day, horrible stomach issues. Dropped metformin and for the next 5 days without it in my system, was still nauseous and cramping all day. Ruined my entire GI system in one dose. Have had minor gas with berberine and that’s it (berberine takes my fasted from ~102 to ~80 in a couple doses)I am essentially in the same boat. I've found the Thorne berberine works best for me...
