Looks fine I guess. How much is it going to cost? It’s looks like you could just buy a brake bleed kit and a media bottle, throw your choice of bottle top filter on there and you have the same thing.

Honestly take my advice I hope you didn't already buy it. Any filtration system that takes a clamp like that is a pain in the ass. It will leak it will not hold pressure. Dinner done that years ago do yourself a favor. If You're going to go that route get something like this.

I know ptfe is tricky with certain solvents.

Also you can put a silicone stopper with a screw cap thar has a circle cut out. They are for sale. You could then use large syringes to transfer to sterile viales.

Tricky with certain solvents like witch ones or how? Just a heads up not being a smart as just wondering what you mean?

I'm thinking what you mean It is because PTFE is usually hydrophobic and Any PVDF used should be hydrophobic as well. Which means they need to be wetted prior to adding the solution that needs to be filtered. 2 easy ways of doing this is the number one soaking them in BA ( Is my preferred method) or filtered carrier oil such as MCT for about 5 to 10 minutes before you put it into the Flask. This is what they call activating the filter which will allow the solution to start flowing immediately. Otherwise sometimes when you add the solution to the flask, and add your vacuum pressure it will start filtering slowly before speeding. but by activating the filter 1st it will avoid that and there should be no reason you can't filter 1200mk up to 1700ml in 15 to 20 minutes. If it's a 90mm filter that is...

Sounds like you got it. There is a chart that shows which solvents certain membranes can handle. Things lik me EO or guac.

But you don't want to use those MCB filter papers. You want hydrophobic PTFE or hydrophobic PVDF. Oh and this exact set up takes at 47mm filter which is probably the 2nd most popular next to a 90mm.

If you notice this funnel has what they call a pore plate on the bottom. That's basically glass with holes in it. You do not want what's called a fritted disc. It takes forever to filter, and it's impossible to clean

Exactly if you get the 90Mmm Instead of the 47mm you can literally filter 1500 ml through it in 15 to 20 minutes using a hydrophobic PVDF or PTFE filter membrane.
