Best workout split while on PEDs?

Hello guys, I've been lifting for like 3 years and recently started my first cycle.
I've been doing PPL for about 5 months, and I'm wondering whats the best split while being enhanced? What should we focus on? Intensity or volume?
Saw that most bodybuilders go for bro splits rather than training each body part 2-3x times a week.
Whats your thoughts?

I do PPLPPL off.

That's how I made my most gains. If you think about it, you're creating stimuli twice a week, allowing 104 chances to grow per year, instead of only 52 (if you did the bro split).

But really, you do what you love to do, and keep at it; I don't think there is going to be much difference in results. Why? because the guys who destroy their muscle in a bro split with higher volume, are doing more damage to per session to recover from, so probably turns out the same over time.

I also think almost everything is literally genetics, and all these other factors are people getting obsessed with details (I know because I was one of them), don't really matter.

Do what you enjoy doing so you keep at it and avoid injury.

I don’t think being enhanced changes anything unless you notice it significantly increases the rate at which you recover.

Some guys do say they find they’re able to do a lot more work. For me my sleep and nutrition are more important for recovery. I’ve only noticed a huge difference when I went all the way off trt.

Training approach and style will vary and there’s no consensus on exactly what is optimal. Aas users have gotten great results with different techniques regarding intensity vs volume.

I would say dedication and consistency are the most important things. Try some different methods and see what really suits you.

I don’t know that I agree with the statement “most bodybuilders” go for bro splits once a week.
I think I’d agree a lot of the biggest pro’s run that kind of split. Perhaps when you get to that big a size, it makes more sense. The time it takes to get a good stimulus on a muscle and then recover properly from it just makes more sense to organize it that way, but I don’t know if that’s most bodybuilders. I bet there’s plenty of guy’s hitting their calves and biceps more than once a week. More than a minority.

Ronnie did six days a week
Jay did bro splits
Dorian 4 days a week
There have always been diff pros doing diff styles.

I think the Flex mags pushed the bro split for some reason.

Look into Mike Isratels Renaissance Periodization video on 2xs a day workouts. This is what most bodybuilders do and Ive stayed w for a while. I hit 7-9xs week, sometimes more on days off work. So my day may be 3-5 chest exercises w 1-2 back, later that night I'll hit tris. Next day legs w bis, following heavy back w 1-2 lt chest. Off, then hheavy chest abs and bis. Etc this shit can get maddening and takes a long time to dial in but its not far from decade ago what I worked up to natty.

I applied his method to my PPL strategy; that's what got me my biggest.

Thanks for you takes on this subject guys. I'll stick to my PPL since my strength went up unlike on bro splits, even on first cycle I'm already up 10 kg on benchpress in 5 weeks, so guess its working lol.

I did PPL for a good 2 years and made good progress. The only thing was my arms lagged behind somewhat. I just recently went back to the old "bro split" and started making gains again. I also don't feel so beat up like I did on PPL. I think PPl is great but easy to over do the volume. I'm also in my 40s so my situation is different than a younger guy. I think whatever program you go with, be consistent and when it stops working switch things up.

Ppl off or ppl ppl off is my shit when I'm in a surplus , in a deficit I'll never recover from that. Ppl each work out is easy 2 hrs long

Which part of his process? The meso planning or the duration of eccentrics
First time I ever implemented planned mesos with deloads, and also using RIR. I broke my bulk down into three, six-week mesos, with one-week deload in between each; the last two weeks I was at 5 and 6 sets, going to failure.

I just don't go to failure on any set and that ensures I can recover.

I'm super shitty about deloads,, rarely even take days off so I'm working on more true rest days to get comfortable w the concept and in starting this new 8 week program I'll def add a deload in maybe week 6 or 7

I literally had to force myself to do it; but that last week of MRV and failure, you'll be happy to lol.

Ive found good benefits in slowing the fuck out of eccentrics and also going lighter w perfect form as goal. I always had good form but on shit like the bent over rows holy fuck does it make a difference for sure. I'll have to plan this out and definitely aim for deloads

I completely agree!

Initially it's sad to see the weight going down but it has been really rewarding personally
