The idea is eating them post workout to create an insulin spike and blunt the cortisol response created from training. In theory this should enable the recovery process to start sooner. It has to be glucose based Gummi bears, like Haribo brand
So basically it's a poor man's insulin? I did this religiously for awhile when I first started using gear and I was getting bigger. People kept asking what the secret was and I would show them the bag of Gummi bears. I don't know how much they helped but I guess they didn't hurt either.Yea that's true but theres also the theory of having it pre intra and post so it can be available to be absorbed by the muscle during workout
I listing to him but no I actually just always eat them cause I like them I ain't gummy bears before I was ever into the gymI do occasionally.
Did you get the idea from Dan the bodybuilder in Thailand? That's where I heard about these.
glucose or dextrose is irrelevant, If it's not Haribo brand you won't create additional anabolism. The idea is eating them post workout to create an insulin spike and blunt the cortisol response created from training. I like those and the Swedish Fish.Sour patch kids are a big thing at my gym. Always a bag being passed around lol
Nah, fuck those fish.I like those and the Swedish Fish.
You sure you don't mean the sugar free gummy bears?Use them for what? Blowing out your intestines? According to the reviews on Amazon that's a pretty normal experience when eating a bag.
That’s what I use post workout soon as I step out the gymJym has an affordable dextrose drink mix I'd highly recommend trying.
