Good program to research

Can someone recommend a good training program for me to research? I have been doing CrossFit for ten years, and I am three or four weeks into my first cycle. I was combining CrossFit WODs with 5/3/1. My metabolic workouts have been majorly suffering so I was thinking about dropping them and just focusing on strength. But I don’t have much experience with routines other than 5/3/1 and I don’t know if that has enough volume.

I'm eating well And have gained 7 pounds in the last month. Getting a little stronger but the poor metcon performance and overall lack of motivation surprised me.

One of the most fun routines for me personally is P.H.U.L

I used to follow it few years ago and gained a lot of experience lifting heavy weights with control and technique, but also enjoyed training for feeling the muscle or muscle and mind connection. I enjoyed and had really good time with it. It's a combination of different training styles, so if overall athleticism and strength is important for you, throwing in some calisthenics and injury free cardio like swimming on top of it perhaps would be ideal.

I would lose my mind only going to gym 4 days a week.

I would love going more than four days. But 5/3/1 limits me to four. I’m just not sure if being on a cycle means I can handle more volume than these programs were designed for.

I am currently between jobs so I would like to take advantage of that.

Still on off days i would foam roll, or yoga…
