Best place to store raw powder tadalafil?

Cool dry and out of sunlight is what labs do with their powders. At least the labs i have been to. They usually do not store them in a frig or freezer as condensation can happen and the lower temp really doe not help the powders last longer. In my 20 years of brewing i have stored mine in a insulated container in my closet to avoid temp changes, no light and it is dry there and they are still good many tears later.

Okay so I can just keep it in my closet where it's dark . No need for freezer?

You asked the best place. I will hold to my belief that the freezer is the best. Could you get away with a container in your closet I suppose but the freezer is certainly better for longer storage.

Vacume sealed in the freezer. I have some Tadalafil that is getting to the 5 year mark, that i cap 5mg for daily. It is just as good (feelz at least not tested) as when i first got it.

colder=better esp if not taking in and out. use dehydrator packs use multi bags(vac sealed best) in tupperwear. allow to reach room temp prior to opening.

now is it ok for years in your closet, yup for most. but if 5+ years supply no harm in putting most in freezer well sealed, only benefit. just dont want to be opening it when its cold often to decrease condensation.

for 99.8% of all drugs, colder drier less light =better. varying concerns for secondary API or harmful degradation byproducts or rate of decay. also poor raws from china may have Dif PH from impurities or left over solvents(moisture content even) that can affect degradation vs USP compound. again, some folks even still like UGL accutane and works for them even though we know now it degrades fast.

just because its what UGL s(or above ground for that matter) do does not mean its "best". but also most dont need crazy perfect conditions to maintain efficacy for years.

That is what i do. My X was a research scientist and they did not put their chemicals in a freezer or frig. Everytime the door is opened the temp changes and condensation can occur to some degree even in well sealed bags. I have powders that are 10+ years old and the give me the same results as they did years ago. This say 59-86 degrees is the best temp for most drugs. same with many other sources i have seen. If the USP say it is good that is good enough for me. Can't say i have see any documented sources that say anything different, but i guess there may be a few.

remember what your citing also takes into account they have definite expiry dates...

not disagreeing most/many are fine for longer than expiry date at room temp... but 'best' to keep as cold as possible 9/10 times.

I have never seen where cold changes expiry dates. Adding heat can shorten the life of a chemical. But i have never seen where having more cold after a certain point lengthens the life of a chemical. But if you have some sources i would appreciate seeing them as i am always open to new knowledge.

As for expiry dates the have little barring on the shelf life of many/most drugs as they are good way past their expiry date it seems.

there is not gonna be anything about it long term. I would follow off of the general guidelines for most medication.

Long term will also be determine about the conditions it is stored in. If it is in those conditions it should be fine for a long period of time. Nobody is going to do a long term study on tadalafil. They cycle through the medication so fast and its cheap. its kind of dumb to.

I know you were asking about long term storage but as long as its not in an acidic environment and its in a dry cool area(silica packets) it should be fine.

Thanks that is what i posted originally. as i found no direct info regarding what the OP asked for. So by default i go back to the generic answer. So if there was going to be no direct source for such info may i ask why you suggested a search for it?
