Tretinoin powder

I'm interested in how people are using this powder. it seems difficult to dissolve. Does it have to be dissolved? Can you just mix it into a cream? can i dissolve it in Everclear and then gel it somehow? looking to get the ball rolling.

Buy pharma. When I use raw I capped but that was a while ago now if I need iso I buy pharma.
It degrade quickly and you need to know for sure how much you use.

Doesn’t degrade nearly as fast as people say.

(When refrigerated) It does oxidize a bit which explains the bro-science misconception that the powder “degrades”.

I have tested my powder after simple refrigeration and <1% Degredation in purity occurred after 3 years. (Which can also be attributed to sample variation)

Just keep cool, dry and out of sunlight.

As for mode of dispersal. I prefer capping using geometric dilution method to maintain consistency.

If liquid … don’t dissolve. Suspend in Ora-Plus. (Grind with mortar and pestle for better suspension as it is naturally a bit sugar crystal like)

Lasts 6+ months in suspension no noticeable efficacy change (not tested) in my experience. Long as you refrigerate and keep dark.

I have caps over 2 years I don’t worry a bit about

Return on effort in that case is nominal. Just buy Pharma. Some exceptionally cheap stuff out there through Indian pharmacies like alldaychemist etc

If anyone from the future is interested, here is my 1st attempt. seems really good. the result is retin-A 0.1% cream
materials
scale, glass bowl, 190 proof grain alcohol, regular size silicon spatula, tiny silicon spatula, generic 450g moisturizer base cream, tretinoin powder.
procedure.
Tretinoin is a bright yellow which helps to see if materials are completely mixed visibly.
weighed .45g of tretinoin and emptied to the bottom of the glass bowl
a splash of alcohol. Like 2ml. Didn't completely dissolve but completely separated particles and removed air which ensured and aided complete mixing. mixed up with the large spatula.
added about a teaspoon of cream and mixed with a large spatula.
kept adding equal amounts to what was in the bowl and mixing until the container was empty. the little spatula was to aid large where unmixed parts at the top of large spatula and bowl would escape the mixture.
