I’m just wondering what everyone’s perception of AAS use in their gym is? Percentage of population either TRT or cycling.

My Gym is a golds and has a disproportionate 70% population under 30. My read on the rooms AAS usage is surprisingly high. I would put the number at 15-25% of my gyms population. The under 30 guys are easy to pick out with the water retention, cystic acne and shaved heads. Older guys it gets a bit harder as some are using dry compounds and not all of them are sporting the shaved head look; many love the wet compounds and that makes it easier to spot. It turns out my perception is pretty good with guys over 40 as many have aprotched me and confirmed my opinion.

My whole goal with this is to check my perception of reality. I’m probably asking an echo chamber here but I feel like I tend to see what I want to believe vs what is actually present.

Wife and I go to an "old mans gym" because I hate the crowds and bullshit of the big chain gyms. My gym has everything I need, though it's got a high monthly fee compared to others which weeds out the nonsense. They've got the usual collection of Hammer Strength machines, dumbbells to 150lbs, 4-post racks, benches/incline/decline, cable machines, leg press, hack squat, treadmills/rowers/climbers/bikes/etc. Because of the high fees (and somewhat inconvenient location), when I go at 5:30am the only people there are maybe a dozen old men monkeying around with the cable machines bullshitting about work/money/health and 2 or 3 women doing HIIT training keeping to themselves.

There's one other dude who shows up infrequently in the morning that is obviously on gear - but he usually goes in the evenings. So, from what I've seen it's pretty much just myself, him and my wife on gear.

I go to a private gym owned by the company I work for, so there is a mix or corporate persons and line workers working out in unison. As for the break down I'd say maybe 15% total of all gym goers are on gear, but broke down by job classification the line workers like myself are the mass majority at at least 90%.

I go to a chain in a large city (1m+ people). I'm sure some of the regulars are on compounds. I've even heard randoms openly talking about their past experiences.

Unfortunately have one for a nephew. And when I confronted him about his gear usage I was told “well if a peanut butter sandwich and creatine is steroids I guess that’s what I’m on”
Now that was such a creative response on your nephew's part...genius!

I've seen a couple of powerlifters at my gym who might be on gear. There's no way of knowing unless you ask, which I won't, and if I did, of course they would say no. The first rule of using gear is deny you're using gear.

At my gym I would say 5% of guys look like they might take gear, the actual number is probably closer to 10% if you count the people who look natty and take gear.

Its alot of old heads from the 90's that still love gear, and maybe a handful of dumbass younger guys who don't know what the fuck they are doing.

Let me clarify, old heads who started using gear in the 90's, not guys born in the 90's haha.

My gym is full of over-the-hill athletes. I put it at 40% and mostly TRT.

I dunno about that. Once I got On guys I've known for years who never spoke with me about it before suddenly were very open with me about their drug use. It's like they somehow knew I was in the club now.

It's funny I'm in a fake natty gym. I know these guys are on it but the constantly deny it.... may just be me if you're on a trt plus dose I consider that gear.
