Do you go to cruise during an athletic tournament?

Do you drop to a cruise for a tournament (non-tested of course)? I do BJJ and figured I should drop to cruise 2 weeks before a tournament.

Obviously tren should be dropped, but curious about test and other compounds too.
 
Well, drop to anything really. I feel like I've read that just doing a higher dose of test (ie 500+, or non-cruise levels) will hurt cardio or athletic performance beyond the weight room.

I feel like taking tren during a fight sounds like a terrible idea.
If you really read that, then the person who wrote it doesn't know wtf they're talking about. As long as you're otherwise healthy, 500mgs test will only improve your endurance.

Also, you are right that tren is a terrible idea.
 
You definitely don't want tren cough or tren endurance while doing bjj and any other sort of sport that requires lots of cardio.
I've also heard of higher test levels affecting endurance, how much are you blasting? Depending on how high it is, seems like there's a sweet spot between resilience from the test and the endurance it provides, before one side starts to skew. As long as it isn't an insane amount that you're blasting you should be good.

Are you not rolling a few times a week in practice? I would think you'd have an idea of how it affects you...?

If you have already solid cardio endurance, tren may not affect your cardio that much. It often seems to affect people worse when they aren't well trained in that department.

200-400mg test and something like anavar would be a good BJJ cycle, boldenone might be a nice add on as well.

At first if you have build an endurance base , nothing gonna screw the things significantly.

Yeah testosterone can decrease the capacity you have and every other anabolic. This is mainly because we also shift training more towards to hypertrophy and we care about build muscle and strength and not endurance.

However this has a big advantage if you train and you’re “heavy” and meet your goals. Then some weeks prior to the events you drop the testosterone dosage or completely or you can add also a dry agent like mast or primo.
Then you drop ALL the water ALL the heaviness and you’re better than before you’re lighter and you have kept the strength from anabolics so now it’s show time.
I’ve seen people running marathons while they carry loads and also on test tren.

If you use anabolics for athletic purposes you just need to have the right strategy.
The thing with us bodybuilders is that we get the anabolics wrong. We megadose them to add 2lb more and we live with side effects.
The reality is if you low dose (200test 200nand) then you’re gonna be better all around strength endurance agility (bigger,better,stronger,faster) you just DONT NEED HIGH DOSAGES FOR THIS PURPOSE.

PS: when I’m on nandrolone only my endurance game goes on another level for real so it’s just something to to thing about. There’s also a study on rats who were on nandrolone , they was able to run much much more distance than the rats who were natural.
 
I much prefer to complete on cycle. Like @Eman said you should have an idea of how your cycle is effecting your endurance from rolling in the gym.
Tren never negatively effects my cardio tho I just run it at 150mg usually.
I feel like most of the people who say test effects endurance are people who don't have much of an aerobic base to begin with.
are matches are usually 10 mins long not ultra marathons so the strength to "lost" endurance ratio is worth it to stay on cycle imo.
Test EQ T-bol is by far my favorite cycle for BJJ. If you've never tried Tbol highly suggest it seems to be slept on in the bodybuilding community for the most part but I find it to be better than anavar in everyway for strength/endurance
 
Orals can be useful for an acute effect if that's what you're after. Seems to me like they are actually ideal for athletics. Either for a training phase or for a performance phase. Personally I like them for a training phase because the beneficial effects I'm after start immediately and when I stop taking them they clear the system quickly and all the extra weight comes off fast. I guess short ester injectables would be similar but I stick to cyp and enan.
 
I just want what works, I don't mind the long haul that's why we're all in the gym anyways
Cardio and talent. Those are the things that work, and you don't need steroids to develop either. You should already know where you stand cardio wise. If you don't, then your already in trouble.

You seem to fishing for a particular answer, but I have no idea what answer you'll be willing to accept.
 
If im going to fight someone I'm going to be on as much tren as I can handle
AND GAS OUT AFTER 60 SECONDS and get ur ass beat?

Thats y tren is definitely a no go for american football players.where u think it would excell.

however I do agree with that if i can end the fight in under 1 min I'll choose tren hands down , in 3 5 min rounds absolutely not.

Tren is but there’s a lot of shit that isn’t I just posted asking for some advice on bjj comp cycles go check it out
