Bad morning wood

I'm curious how no one mentioned the crushed SHBG. Usually leads to libido issues but maybe plays a role to erections as well? I don't know. Also, 500 test with no other peds and AI and the e2 is that low?? How?

Taking peds will lower your SHBG.
I’d love to see the literature on low SHBG descreasingnlibido.

I heard a theory that without hcg, aromatization decreases after a few years

shbg is indeed an interesting theory

I think @Jin23 has made some long posts regarding constant androgen exposure over long periods of time negatively effecting your brain and other downstream things
I've heard of this as well, from what I understand testosterone stimulates dopamine receptors, part of the reason you feel more motivated, head-strong, and have higher libido if you go from having low test to doing TRT.

Long-term overstimulation causes the receptors to balance to their new normal, and natural testosterone production doesn't keep you at a baseline all day either, it falls and rises. I think this is the reason why some people feel better with less frequent injection schedules, or use Propionate. Your total test levels get to spike, and then fall rather than stay maxed out at the same level all week, and your dopamine receptors get a break once in a while.

Hello, I'm 22 years old, I've been taking AAS for 3 years, I have a problem because for some time my morning wood has been much weaker than before, I have no idea why it is because I don't take any 19nors and my hormone levels are in good ranges

I have never used HCG, do you think adding it will help with this problem or any other idea?

Yes, hcg is quite useful for libido and ofc keeping up the gonadal steroidogenesis active, which fulfills the larger part of the body's progesterone levels and progesterone is quite important for libido, amongst other things ...

I feel like everyone in this discussion is ignoring the fact that I wasn't taking hcg
HCG helps with libido, but there's also a hundred other reasons why your dick wouldn't be cooperating. You still get regular boners otherwise, things work fine during sex?

what do you think about the correlation with low shbg?

with a girl I get it normally
I wouldn't sweat it too much then, morning wood comes and goes. What matters is that your dick works when it needs to, don't need to overcomplicate things.

Like other people here said already, if you've been permablasting 500mg/week for a long time, give your body a rest and come down to TRT levels. Dick troubles are one thing, overstressing your cardiovascular system is a whole other problem you don't want to have.

I don't have a definite answer for that. The androgen-SHBG complex is it self biologically active by binding to the SHBG-R and SHBG can also deliver androgens to tissues via small capillaries, microcirculation system, but I've no idea how important this is in light of cycle blood serum androgen levels. Seeing how adding hcg to the cycle most often then not resolves libido issues, and almost everybody has crushed SHBG on cycle, I'd say shbg is not really relevant.

However, desensitization, like mentioned earlier is a real "issue". But again, at a certain point you should just be at your baseline with normal and not raging libido but not low libido. I'm half asleep, hope this is somewhat clear.

I respond heavily to hcg. Libido through the roof. Just make sure you actually have good hcg. And measure your progesterone levels before and after.

I missed that.

OP; at 22yo you've been permablasting 500mg's for 3 years straight?

yes, is it really that unusual? I have never had any problems with blood pressure or anything during this time
Yes, there's a reason why people refer to cycles as "blast" and "cruise." We blast ourselves with huge amounts of hormones so our bodies have a surplus to induce muscle growth, but they have side effects at high levels, including test. A lot of the side effects are obvious, but there's a lot that you won't know unless you saw a doctor and they did scans like an ECG. The biggest of these hidden side effects is left ventricular hypertrophy, along with other cardiac issues.

What happens with left ventricular hypertrophy, is the lower left tube of your heart gets thicker, making it harder for your heart to do it's job. Combine that with added muscle mass and weight which also makes your heart work harder, and you're looking at the reason why a lot of bodybuilders die of heart attacks in their 50's.

Give your body breaks, it's a marathon not a race

I had an EKG twice, the result was perfect

the only thing that has not been good during these 3 years are lipids, but it's not because of testosterone or eq but because of 5 afla reduced compounds

You need to get an echocardiogram. And just because results are coming in fine now doesn't mean that they always will. LVH and other shit doesn't show up until it shows up.
